I found Dispel resistance much more important against the guardian than being able to use a thunder-elemental attacks wih Matt, so I used the Heaven's Gate. IT worked much better for me.
Matt, please make the Fire spell more useful. Most things that are susceptible to Burn could be one-shot by a Bolt or Seiken right away, which in most cases is the preferrable option. Bolt has a great attack power and Ice is great for setups with low magic power or performing MP stasis with a staff, but Fire is mostly useless right now.
If you don't receive the badge after completing the game with all aces, just exit to the title screen, then refresh and wait until the game has loaded again. It worked for me, at least.
If you know someone who searingly hates pigs, bats and birds, just ask him about rotating shuriken blades, and you'll know whether it's because of this game.
I spent a great deal of time stunlocked by clutters, but my drone reloaded and killed ~20 glooples. Only five glooples left... and then a meltie appeared and ate me. Dammit.
Better comprehensible version of my last, weird comment:
You can easily get glowing frames in all levels before the first epic one by maxing out your gem bomb enhancement skill and related abilities, summoning many waves at once and spamming low-grade gem bombs.
That jellyfish thing was just an obscure reference; I didn't criticise this game or anything.
Max out Gem Bomb Mastery, Increase Mana Drop, Starter Gem Amount and Reduced Gem Cost -> screw towers -> let in all waves at once and overwhelm them with mass-produced gems.
In other words: Bomb jellyfish, because this game is silly!
I agree...
