Ugh, the stat based guesswork really kills the storytelling angle. What do choices mean if its based on a stat system with no idea what they mean or want?
I usually don't like this series, but this was ok. Stuck to its strengths with the detective section and putting things together I suppose, although I figured it out midway through the clues section. Rest of the jokes were rather hit or miss.
Geez, challenge level was an obscenely unfair difficulty spike. And the boring kind of difficulty too, where you have to just sit around until an opening happens.
Ah, your standard low quality game, with artifical grindiness and money-begging everywhere. The loading time too, good god. There's even game-breaking lag when there are too many things around. Just wow.
Probably pretty good if you're really into the tactics type games, which, well, I'm not that into honestly. Get the feeling this is another one of those games where its good but I can't really appreciate. Can see the appeal though, lotta thought was put into the tactics aspect.
Well, this was surprisingly well put-together. Got rather engrossed till 4AM and didn't notice. Guess the humanity of the characters, mystery and atmosphere sold it for me, seeing how I seriously disliked Medieval Cop while doing this quest badge run. Bit sluggish sometimes though, especially when trying to replay.
Ehh, this has better script and story than that short 3 at least. Still, for me, this whole deal just feels quite overrated, with a lot of fluff and little substance. A lot of the usual shallow, convoluted, takes-itself-too-seriously mess that people seem to love and hail as deep and whatnot. I suspect people just don't really think in depth about things like that much. That said, the investigation scene was decent, I'll give you that. Got me involved until it went back to the life/death rambling. In the end though, I'm probably not your target audience.
This'll likely get downvoted into oblivion by rabid fans, like all other comments on kong nowadays that aren't like "OMG AMAZING" :P
Ugh. I have nothing against visual novels but this was just one terrible joke after another. Its chock full of poor language too. Plus I'm pretty damn sure whoever did the depression part of the story has no clue whatsoever what its really like. I suppose at least Amber's doctor was an idiot and she never really was depressed in the first place...
This was really cute! Decent platforming, with some adorable secret places to find. I liked it. Game started getting buggy when I tried to replay it, though... Especially around the crow, after I got all the medals.
Yeessss. I love to read people's responses to those interactions.
