I think Russia is really weak because they don't get wood. They can't hire some midgame units and it hurts when you start encountering armies of 30 swordsmen and you have no ranged units. I suggest doubling the wood output and cost for all other faction, and giving Russia the normal output and double cost. This way they will still be able to use these units, just with higher costs.
I rated this game 1/5. Not because the game is bad, but as an example not to serve old p2w games as hot new startegy games. Sorry Kongregate, that's just cheap.
This was one of the very first good unity games. I'm really sad that it was never continued. I remember devs announced that they are leaving Aurora to make new projects, but it never happened as far as I know. Shame. It could have been great.
I'm a bit confused about the 'travel to system' button. I thought it will guide my ship gate-to-gate but it just rushes it through space which is kinda awkward and pretty pointless :( Other than that I'm really enjoying the game! :)
traveling to a system will let you avoid getting jumped by pirates at the gate. there will soon be warp drives, in which this feature will warp your ship there.
This is your first game? That's amazing! You're going places, this is really enjoyable :) Sure there are a few issues, but for an independent developer new to the industry it's really extraordinary. I'm following your page, can't wait for more :)
Wait... that's the ending? What about the giant demon? What about the souls? What? Just the stupid wizard? I've made like a 1000 potions with enchantments to prepare for this... I'm kinda disappointed :\
I'm no history expert but I'm pretty sure that with the manpower of 130000 men with alien-tech level 9 bronze weapons and lvl 13 walls reaching sky high 1800BC I would have the strongest army in the ancient world... who are these super-humans enslaving my people and taking my land?
waaaay short, plus the diamonds are pretty pointless (unless I missed something). Since It's pretty easy to max out everything in less than a day the highscores are just the game of who can keep his PC on longer. Looking forward to the updates
The game is great, just 2 things I'd like to add up to "I don't like it" pile
1) The training messages force you to click on the other side of the screen and so they sometimes make you fall into the enemies.
2) It's very easy to click otutside the screen, and for some reasone when I unpause the character seems unresponsive for a split second and I fall into enemies.
It's a great idea, that (much like aurora) should be developed further, but I hope that you won't abandon this game (much like aurora developers) and you will continue to amaze us. :)
I don't get this game. I found a sword in like 3rd dungeon on normal mode with 500 DPS and +100% dmg, and I'm rocking it while I'm in nightmare mode, because I've never found anything better.
Very counter-intuitive. I still don't know if I'm supposed to hit the birds, and I would imagine that I have to avoid hitting barrels (as barrels>arrows) until the upgrade told me otherwise. Not a huge fan of it.
I feel like the Death Reach spell is largely op. It allows you to "cheat" the game and wait out the weave with one almost non-moving enemy for your spells to recharge. In my opinion it should have larger AOE/Damage but the slowness effect should be temporary. Other than that, awesome game!
I'm gonna be readjusting Death Reach in the next update to make it a lot less affective. Maybe it will have a chance to slow enemies instead of 100% of the time. Thanks for the feedback!
I've had this game playing in the background for several hours while I was studying, just because the music is so relaxing and calming o.o hats off gents
