This is one of those games that took 2 weeks of artist work and 1 day of coding. The logic basically comes down seeing if you clicked on an enemy sprite and decrement its health according the weapon type. 2/5 from me.

The collision detection in this game is really buggy. The bugs can really be seen in level 11, where your recoil can push you through walls.

Good game. Beat it with 2 deaths on first try, took around 10 tries to beat it without dying. A few things need improving: The mouse cursor needs to be more visible. It's too easy to lose track of the mouse position. The mouse tracks outside of the flash window, which is good, except when you click again there's a good chance it will be on one of the Kongregate links, which will end the game, or you will at least lose keyboard focus. A game with this type of input really needs to be full screen. The spastic particle effects are really annoying, but I guess that is part of the difficulty to make it harder to see what is going on. The spawn fragging between levels is annoying, and adds a luck element to a game that is otherwise 100% skill based. I find that detracts from the purity of the game.

I just played this game on the author's website, and it looks so much better when viewed at the resolution it is designed for. I can actually see the health indicators, etc. Why does kongregrate have to size all the games and contort them to fit some arbitrary size?

The game ends when you beat level 30. I never could beat the big axe guy. If you hit him in the head with a bomb arrow when his helmet is off it will knock him onto the ground. I hit him 6 times like that and he still didn't die. However it bought my men enough time to capture the flag, so I won that way.

At level 30 this huge guy (almost as big as the castle) makes an appearance. I wailed on him for 10 minutes and couldn't kill him. When he swings his axe the earth pops up in front of him, causing damage. Then he takes off his helmet and wipes his face, which is when he is most vulnerable. Most of my arrows did 700+ damage but still couldn't take him down.

When it won't let me shoot, it is showing the hand icon and the crosshair at the same time. Maybe that will help the author fix it.

This game blows. It's really buggy. Doesn't respond when I click "Retry", then sometimes when the game starts up it won't fire. Always targets the wrong zombie, and shoots at the legs of someone up above. Lame.
