Fun game, do not like the reliance on tokens and/or guild members! Prices are too high for additional workers and difficult to come by without the help of other players - some people like to play a game by themselves where we don't have to rely on other people!
I would like to see much more effective upgrades. Even when I'm up to rank 12 and have a horde of Cheetahs and several laser turrets in position, I feel like as soon as level four hits, it's a losing battle. There is NO hope of making it very far. It's fun, but it gets dry and repetitive. I kept playing as long as I did because I was after that next upgrade, thinking 'that will make the difference'. But I'm continually let down. I only got to level 6 this last play, the first time I had laser turrets available.
One major complaint about this game - the backdrop looks, in some instances, too much like daytime. You may as well add sparklies to the vampires. -_-
I'm also disappointed that, by level 19, there hasn't been some implementation of a rising sun.
Seems like just another 'fly-as-far-as-you-can' game. Nothing unique about it; nothing fun or innovative to make it stand out. The fact that you're launching Santa isn't enough to carry this game.
This is a brilliant example of great games not always needing to be complex. The mechanics aren't quite spot-on, in my opinion, but it's still absolutely great and addicting. Well done!
Cute idea and animations, but the mechanics are crappy, and the puzzles aren't puzzling. Seems like there's more challenge in nailing the timing than solving the puzzle.
The game definitely has a few bugs. I am continually getting frustrated trying to get this army to do this and that one to do that. Still think it's an amazing game, and I think the second one will be better, especially if the criticisms are listened to. Look forward to it. :D
Definitely love the concept. I agree with comments on screen scrolling. And I think this would be phenomenal with a multiplayer of some sort.
Also, I would like a third move option, maybe click and drag while holding space makes this army NOT automatically stop and get into fights with other armies on the way. My pixels were fecking ADHD as hell! XD
Great job. Not one of my usual game types, but I enjoyed it. Wave construction was epic (and I only played on easy...) and the soundtrack was kickass. It takes a good piece to be able to loop it and not take away from it.
Fun game. Long and a little tedious, but fun. Love the initial chaos factor of a sci-fi space battle. But now watch them put it up for challenges and not give me the points I earned - I doubt I'll want to spend another hour or two beating it again anytime soon. >_<
Great concept. Good, addictive gameplay. But, for all that, it's a fail. Does not make proper use of everything it could do. Only one level with a green ball involved? Seriously? And I played two levels that were basically the same. Most of the levels were genuinely simple. A couple were mildly challenging. Only one or two actually challenged thought.
I like the game. Make these improvements, and you'll have an epic sequel (if you make one).
