Why? Why do you continue to make the game harder and harder? The added stuff like Factory is nice, but the gameplay gets less and less fun with every update.
Now, because of ranged attacking enemies, I'm forced to build evenly. This makes the game more bland by making fewer builds viable.
You greatly lower resource gain because the factory supposedly offsets this.
But now the player must spend resources, while making less, in order to get back to the same level of income he was already at.
The addition of that factory made the game less fun instead of more, because of those reductions.
I've not had any bugs with the new update (lucky? I'm using Firefox if that means anything.)
However, I'm disappointed with the first challenge. No idle monsters, just Bob clicking like mad? The game is called ZombIDLE, not ZombCLICKFEST.
A very enjoyable story. It's not clear how much difference some of my choices made, but hopefully this will show up in the next installment.
Two things: - the mute does not work in the middle of the story, at least it didn't for me.
- allow the player to save the game.
Good start, I'm eager to see the next part; any ETA on that?
Almost every choice you make will have a repercussion on the story, in this and future episodes.
Stupid example: if you don't buy Ghvnn breakfast, he'll try to eat the brain in the farm/prision and that will lead you to argue with the police sergeant. What will that cause in the second episode? You'll have to wait and see!
Episode 2 will be online the 15th of February on Y8.com, and will be here on Kong a week after that.
Thanks for the comment, I hope you'll enjoy future episodes, too :)
Even with the recent update, it's still too grindy. Make the upgrades more meaningful, more noticeable a difference. Also, reduce the number of lasers, especially on the early worlds.
Nice game, a few suggestions.
1. Remove the level caps. Let us continue to earn XP.
2. Let us go back and grind earlier levels.
3. Let us use something other than left click to throw grenades.
4. Increase the damage of grenades, and remove the delay.
Good start!
Hi OldFern, What do you mean reset the level? When you start losing Crusaders and you want to get them back? Unfortunately, at the moment, it's just beating the area with the remaining Crusaders or going back and then forward again.
A week of playing and I still can't dent the level 10 gnoll... The progress in this game is slower than any other idle game I've tried by a factor of 10. More than 2 days to get to the first reset is too long, let alone two weeks...
you can get almost everything from the store with other game mechanism. Store is only for the people who want (and can) support us financially (donations) :)
Instead of looking forward to unlocking them, I find myself reluctant to buy new skills because even buying one upgrades the cost of every other one. Please consider having the skills as flat fees; acquiring them is fun, it shouldn't be punishing.
Chests survive a reset. You can use Jeweled right away, since they contain Time Warp cards. Silver chests have cards that award gold based on current DPS, so don't open them with only Bush Whacker on the field.
Great game! Please consider lessening the focus on the clicker, as there are so many powers that modify him, and yet few best formations actually utilize him.
Progress is just too slow in this game for me. I've started playing it three different times, and every time I get to around level 20, I crash due to boredom. The building up the base is fun, the scavenge runs are fun, but once you have the base built, the pacing of the runs is off; 5 minutes of play, then wait for 2+ hours. The crafting and return travel times just crush all the fun.
I'll give you $25 for an off-line, no waiting, no PvP version of this game.
Play for a few days, then do nothing for several more, as you wait to get up to 2 million.
I know these are idle games, but man, the progress is slow in this one. Please consider lowering those skill costs a lot.
