Notation system could use an overhaul, though removing it in X level came across as more of a dick move than anything else. Either way, I finished it, had a pretty good time.
Hardest level is in the middle of the game, powers are 100% unbalanced, with the most expensive ones being, paradoxically, powers that will likely kill *you* rather than your enemies. No zoom options.
Liked the game and it was fun, but the above issues are pretty rough.
Andddddd I'm done playing this. Sent a massive army that took an hour or two to build to capture a city, city revolted almost immediately with no way for me to quell the rebellion or do anything about it, lost my entire army. The entire happiness and rebellion system needs a massive rework, but this was already becoming enough of a slog as I'm finishing the Classical Era that this was the straw that broke the camel's back.
Wave skip shouldn't be stopped from skipping to the last wave if your skip amount is more than the distance to the last wave (e.g. if I'm on wave 9990, skip 50 should at least take me to 9999 rather than just act like skip isn't on)
In reference to top comment, hack time isn't just based on scripting level (or at least it definitely isn't the sole determinant for all jobs, because I'm looking at one right now that has time go up for anything bought, not just scripting)
So, is prestige supposed to clear the memory book every time? Not a huge deal if it does, since late game it becomes kinda child's play to get all but the most recent girls, but just wondering since it seems based on where it is in the menus like it would be spared.
To people saying it doesn't give achievements, take a screen cap showing you have made the achievement and report it, they'll get you your achievement and possibly fix up the game achievement wise
Easy way to get the hard and medium achievement: Get up top and stay there, use glide extremely sparingly, jump off of clouds a tad early since they fall out from under you, and get the superman power up and land on dragon when possible. There are so much more gems in the sky, and it's way far from the bottom death area, and the only hazards are flies and pterodactyls, which you can kick (well also the sky, just don't jump too high) stay up there and repeat that, and you'll get 50 gem multiplier as well as 1,000,000 score in no time. I also think a x2 multiplier might be active while you're in the sky... yea just checked it it does. I think superman powerups might be more common, but I can't really test for that. I don't know if I'm imagining this or if they fixed it if it is a thing, but I seem to remember years ago playing that if you stayed alive long enough, you'd get to a point where dragons came back to back to back from them coming sooner
Shortening an earlier comment: The sawblade and axe thing is just... inexcusable. I literally can't beat the last level because of it, despite the fact that other than the sawblades and axes, I now have around the first two minutes of the level memorized from playing it so much, and the ability to beat it if they were actually regular. This game started out very promising with some very cool design, but as it went on it pulled hard into being cheap. I don't care if a game is hard, I like harder platformers. However, when that difficulty is combined with luck, my patience wears thin, and it's now gone. I'm done with this game, and quite frankly, I probably won't play any future ones
Loved everything but the fact that it isn't possible to max every skill no matter how much you level up. When I finished the skill tree, I was 70 allocation points away overall from all maxed out skills, and once the skill tree is done, you can't do anything to get more allocation points... in other words, my ocd will now kill me XD because not even new game plus fixes that problem XD
sooooo spent a silly large amount of time playing this to beat it without the youth fruit, game got so laggy I chouldn't beat it WITH the youth fruit XD but that's just a weird isolated incident, this is one of my favorite games on Kongregate XD
I found that I was able to clear the first chapter easy, the second chapter right till the last two, the third took a little while, but I got back in stride, and the fourth hit me with the last 'bout five levels of it. Course, I am playing this at 1-2 in the morning, so... Either way, it was really fun and relaxing, despite troubles to my fragile mind XD
On the last boss, just don't leave the platforms. Got it after second or third try doing that. It's really effective because you don't have to deal at all with spiders, you just have to dodge the meteor things.
Try again next week, those issues will be fixed in v1.2 !
