It seems that progress doesn't continue when you log out like it does for most idle games. Left for the night and had exactly the same amount of cash when I came back.
Having some the videos in spanish didn't bother me, but having to play a word game in spanish to get a boost makes no sense when the rest of the game is in english. Thanks Dole....
