What happened in adventure mode mission 2: The nerd was controlling the balloon from his house; but after you beat him, his mother though he was a disgrace for not listening to her and beat the crap out of him.
Maybe have minigames and side businesses available to play for extra money, and stil allow "idle mode" for the ancients to work; such as "The Wandering Fisherman's Fish Shop","Betty Clicker's Exquisite Works", and "Bobby the Bounty Hunter's Hunt" where you upgrade his gear and battle things; etc. Just to add a bit more to the game; great game already!
Book of Winter logic: "It's a really cold book. I am the one that controls the seasons, one of the most powerful deities in the world; but you're gonna have to buy this book off some mortal, so I can have it. Thanks."
Congradulations on Phase 2. That's literally it. The new screens are horrible. I have to wait for the turning of the "Buy!" bar for me to purchase anything so I know what the price is, the dragging is infuriating, and now it's even more energy consuming because of all the useless colors that are blowing up the screen. I liked it better then there were 4 tabs and you could always see the screen. Get rid of all the revolving and movement; go back to the old layout, and continue with the good updates, like phase 2; not all the useless garbage that look like a cowboy unicorn vomited on the screen.
I thought it'd be an interesting plot twist if Aphrodite flirted with Athena through the plot twists. "'All is destroyed in love and war,' Aphrodite says with a wink to Athena."
Maybe use money to upgrade your car/house/boat/planet/money bag's for very small bonuses, such as: "Upgrading to a Prius (or something) will add +0.5% to your oil and newspaper delivery profits." That'd be fantastic.
