Intelligently (or stupidly) placed buzzsaws along the edges of the roof/wall can bounce turtles in between each other, making it virtually impossible for the poor animals to get out. I'm counting 3M combo at this point, and it's not even close to done.

The fabled restaurant is located 2000m above sea. To get there, you need to gather a lot of speed by making horizontal combos, i.e. for speed, you dont jump HIGH above the water, but close to the water. This allows you to make a long combo (as long as you get Nice Entry for every landing) and thus gathers a lot of speed. Then, when you have ~20 Nice Entries, you go high and try to starslide all the way up to the blue planet (think it's called Ringer! or Passing Gas, but dont really remember). You then let yourself fall off that starslide (if you jump it, you won't be able to get back, as it takes more than 30 seconds to descend from there). Now, you have above 170m/s speed, and only need to catch a few well timed starslides (be quick on the release of the starslide) to get to the restaurant. Good luck!

On easy: level 50, 84 creeps, 20462 gold, 74833 points). Keep in mind that selling in between levels is a cost-free (in terms of loss in gold, NOT experience) joy, so make sure you do that a lot with the boss levels, i.e. switch splash-weapons to snipers - you should have Tier 1 Level 5 Blue towers regardless. They help massively for only 125gold per tower.

Mute button, quality adjustment (for better performance) AND a fast forward button - these would be great additions to this otherwise great game

Decent TD, from a critical point of view, I'd say 3½ - 4 out of 5. Performs excellently, very smooth gameplay. IMO, the creep carrying the elemental stones (or whatever it is) shouldn't be slowed down. It's simply too easy to kill the carryers.

The reason why I put stops in qoutes is because you can keep on going, but I cant imagine anyone voluntarily doing so for a very long time... There'll be no new units but a lot more spawning after lvl 35 or so.

Overall a pretty decent game... I noticed two bugs: Gunmen stopped shooting every now and then and the plane bug. Also, this game, and its predecessor, "stops" at lvl 40. At that point you get that fist (Mcbeefy or whatever) to use in game with the X-key. Too bad it's worthless :p

... and I like to believe I know what I'm talking about because I completed all levels with the three characters. So for an easiergame, pick engineer.. want it tougher,go juggernaut or psionic (toughest)

I agree with chemossi, Engineer is soo overpowered in comparison to psionic (hardest imo) and juggernaut...

@Allbob : at Grouzeno there's also a Great Hero... It's a mounted melee troop that, AFAIK, is the best melee troop in the game. Sure, this unit doesn't dodge alot, but with patriotism/art-of-war/intelligence and being native wood-elf-thingy, they have 3600HP and a damage from roughly 700-800 (without critcal, that is). I like that combo better than a slow ninja. Takes too long for that ninja-dude to get to the other side of the battle screen.

Apart from noting my lack of punctuation, I would like to emphasize that I hope intelligence/art-of-war/patriotism get nuked in the sequel. It's far too imbalanced.

Buff up patriotism first, then intelligence as you max out patriotism, then buff patriotism again until you reach 100 in patriotism... When that happens, switch over to art of war and buff up to 100... I beat the game as female wood-elf-thingy in 45 minutes with my 5 frontline heroes of Grouzeno at 3600 HP and 5 elder mounted archers at 3300 HP or something like that top damage was at +800 with no critical... Too easy this way, almost to the point where it ruins the game...

Being an old-time Warcraft III ROC player, I always enjoyed TD games. This is one of them and a good one, may I add. Now, as for specific tactics, I recommend having multiple well-spread poison mages throughout the map - don't have the in clusters as their special won't stack. A single mage does the trick. Then have a cluster of fire mages and a single frost mage (for slowing down bosses) some specific place on the map where the creep come twice. Also have a single or maybe two slightly spread purple mages in your cluster of blue and (mostly) red mages. I don't know if I made myself clear, but this tactic got me through all the medium levels and I feel it's good enough for the hard ones too - I never seem to lose more than 5 lives on any given map. Regarding the advanced units, it says in the protectopedia (lame name btw) that alchemist/necromancer combo should be nice, so I'm gonna try spicing my formula up with them. GL
