A lot of the problem here is that idle games want you to buy in large bulk. This game only lets you buy one upgrade point at a time. I should be allowed to get to $25/m of income and buy 2-3 corporations if I want. When you restrict this, it makes idling really, really bad.
All the idle stuff is locked away at the end of content. Which means you can't actually play this game while idle, until you've essentially beaten it. Which is ultimately a problem.
Boosts should still stack through the various chains. I preferred seeing how my early boosts mattered to later trees. Currently, they don't, and are therefore of little to no value once you progress far enough.
This is not well put together. It's ugly, the buttons don't function effectively, a lot isn't clear. Mostly, your "help" buttons take up a lot of room and won't go away.
This is currently a 1 star game.
By end game, you really don't need Black or Red Ants. They'd need significant buffing to keep up, and not actively slow down the process. Especially with larger paintings, where they prevent it from being listed until all ants are returned to their ball. Something needs to be addressed.
Presently, the jump in difficulty from Floor 13 (where I was taking 0 damage per attack) to Floor 14 (where enemies abruptly had 10x as much health, and were able to two shot my tank, and one shot my non-tank) is a bit much. And a bit absurd.
Agreed. I did enable "run in background" and Google doesn't want to help me with possible fixes for this bug. If you have any clues, feel free to message me.
I'll look further into it after doing some rebalancing for the TP-generation :)
Progress appears to halt forever after Island 1. No additional bonuses appear to be coming for Island 2, so once you run through the game twice, you've "won".
The exchange rate for Prestige Coins is really bad. When you need about 50 Upgrade Coins to get 1 Prestige Coin, it's not practical to really do that. It's just a lot of time.
If I start with 0 cash, and I receive $0 per click, I have no way to earn money. I can't even upgrade to earn money, because I have $0 to start. That's a massive issue.
I have earned 3 Infinity Points. I have spent 1 Infinity Point. I am finding it impossible to spend the other points. Because, I'd really like to buy some of these other options. Why can't I?
The trend I've seen (that this game has) is for fixed points of Rollbacks, Reincarnations, Soft Resets, etc. The problem with that is, when I'm 10 or so Transcends into the game, I really shouldn't be waiting for 100B Mass to Rollback. Also, Transcending at a fixed number is awkward, because it actually punishes you for being away for too long. Essentially, full idle is actually 'wrong'. So, Transcending should, perhaps, be a more fluid number. Or a fixed minimum, but buffed for exceeding it. Or, as Piyre said, multiple Transcends in a single run. Overall, I'm enjoying this game, but I think the startups after Transcending the first few times are too slow (100B Mass fixed minimum is problematic, after about 3-4 Transcends, you should let me decide when I want to, or change it to an amount of RB Points instead of Mass), and hard fixed points for Transcending isn't quite ideal. Hopefully, these can be addressed in the near future! :D
I'll start with this: It's a fun game. It's got a lot going for it. The Runes are neat, the spell system is fun. I like it.
Here's my complaint: When resetting, you're punished for going beyond the minimum, but not reaching the next tier. This feels frustrating, and like it could be fixed, either by reducing the cost to the next tier by the over amount, or by making it less rigid in general. I don't know your personal coding skills, so I don't know which would work for you, but hopefully you can do one of those.
But those poor melees have been dealing with this the whole time lol. Seriously though, balancing is ongoing so maybe 4 will end up being to short. My main goal is to make putting points into range a viable skill path and to make the ranger have some unique selling points. If the staves were left as is the ranger would just be a weak mage that uses ammo. I also want to make it more tempting to drop your staff as a caster halfway through and starting cross training into some other form of attack. The classes in this game are not really intended to be played straight through to the end game with no variation. Your encouraged to branch out as you find items and books.
Thanks! Lemme see if I can figure it out.
