seems like a classic pay-to-win setup in multiplayer, where the player that goes first is usually helped by the factor that the opponent gains disadvantage, with no recourse.
campaign seems interesting enough to actually continue playing; the mechanics of the cards can deepen the game to where its all oddly satisfying. strange though that a tcg would actually be better as a 1 player game.
That was fun. I plunked 30-45 minutes into this, and I've beaten every boss, got all the upgrades, on hardest difficulty, but I still have about half the challenges to go. I'm kinda done with the game, maybe if beating a series of challenges yielded some funny duck cutscene, I might keep going.
A great new idea. Let's just go ahead and say that what you've come up with is a lot of fun. Now its time for tightening the mechanics: the game likes to not be entirely clear when my mouse is no longer in play, and then my platform gets stuck. Next, if i have my platform at the bottom of the screen, i will sometimes get random blocks. Also, blocks will fall out of order onto my platform, if they fall close together (that is, there seems to be a space that is right in front of the platform that says "ok, the blocks have hit to this point and not the actual bottom of the platform itself. so there is a very small gap above the platform that behaves strangely). Good Luck
i like how this game is structured, you guys have figured out a really cool way to keep extending the gameplay and make me always want to cash in on my Angel's too quickly. neat game
strange to say, not as much fun as the last one. I miss the whole blacksmithing (and just praying, God I hope i get lucky with a sweet pick, even though i could just wait to ensure I get a good one... o h*ell with it), and how simple it all felt. I don't know how i feel about this "prestige leaderboard" thing, I'm just derping around anyway...
Also, because the last message tltp, your game is lovely and fun to play; you pulled me out of a streak of rpgmaker games and Sherlock. Hope youre proud of your self, you magnificent b*stard /)
I must request, if you would, change the font or the spacing of the numbering in the game (numbers can be hard to read because 1s seem to be closer together and make a number "smaller" if that makes any sense XD) also, what do you think about auto-targeting activating as soon as I click the "auto target", rather than after i destroy an asteroid or pirate... That way I don't get this gap where i have to find the closest asteroid and I can go through a portal and not have to try to find the closest pirate before he starts smacking me up. Also, the mining lasers are weird, I have one that is the exact same as another and I recently bought it, but the one i bought is a billjillion times faster than the first. Was this part of your master updates?
By the way, when you create a game that makes me feel like a badass by cutting through core philosophies, and then makes me feel like sh*t for feeling like a badass (good lord, ari...) then, i do believe you've made a hell of a game.
This is a great game, and, if i don't play it too fast, i can actually pick up on a lot of theory. I would really like it though, to be able scroll back and forth through what Jones is saying, when he provides reasonable doubts with someone's arguments. Sometimes i only have hunches on why specific arguments will work, and i want to make sure i understand why Jones' responses are correct. Thanks for a sweet game, guys.
Yeah, this game is all about a perspective...and what a "perspective" our doodle God has ^-^. But it is amazing the implications, of having to say, create the world from your notepad, trying to remember how the world should be made...and then saying "aww f**k it" and start randomly assigning your own elements. Thats what a lot of you did anyway. I got a good belly laugh out of seeing the first plane go up before the first rowboat even existed. One of my favorites was seeing the superhero come up when the first firearm didn't even exist.
Oh and and i forgot to mention, F**K THE SUPERNATURAL ELEMENTS! The only "useful" (meaning it assembled with something outside of its class) element was dragon. (though it was kinda funny, cause I'm always going back and wondering "Ok, do i need to combine random shit so i can get a monster, or something?)
*Ps Was I the only Perv who had to constantly stop himself from wanting to combine sex with every element they found?*
I have an appreciation for this game. It deserves all the attention that I'm going to give it for just 25 min, and then im going to move on. Its nice, its a little challenging, and its a little provacative. I'd like to thank Alex for the game, and now, I'd like to move on. Thanks Alex, best wishes on your next autuer project. 4/5
glad your having fun :)
