Game developer here:
First things first: the old interface had a simplistic robust interface, yes the interface was a bit clumsy at times but it was functional (just like corporation), the new one has a more cartoonish artstyle that doesn't really fit with the theme.
Second: the fact that the price is sometimes obstructed by the word "Buy" should be something you should look at. I get why you made that, so people new to the interface know where to click to buy stuff, but when comparing prices that "buy" text will quickly become a nuissance.
3: the option to switch between 1,10,100 buys should be more immediatly aparent. it's not immediately apparent.
4: achievement notifications blocks the donut shop.

Hitting new game onto a save should show a confirmation message that you want to delete the progress you made.
Or just show New Game where there is no save is present and replace with Continue when there are saves present.
I had 14/15 achievements, 92/100 stars collected and was half-way done with japan when the game crashed and wanting to finish fast just chose the first upper button (which is usually Continue), selected my save 1 game and realised that everything i did is now gone...
That voice when an item disappears is extremely annoying! :-S Also I was reading through the comments and saw that armor weight makes a difference but I have no idea what :|
my breath stopped :| awsome ending. it's related to the greck story in which someone has to recuperate his lover from hades but he isn't allow to look at her until they both leave the underworld. but he turns and she dissapeares. anyway really suprising end with a deep meaning.
