Bug: If you don't have the resources to cast a spell, then use Holy Bomb to get the resources, the game doesn't realize you have the resources until you complete a normal combo with that color. Basically, it doesn't execute the check if you can cast a spell when Holy Bomb executes.
Nice game. First match 3 I've enjoyed in a long time. A few requests: 1. Mute button. 2. Gets repetitive once you have all the spells, and spells aren't really balanced. Poison is very powerful with a few earth mastery. Chain lightning is fairly useless, and costs a ton. The +1/-1 to phys damage are neat, but don't benefit from mastery, and aren't really worth a turn. Holy bomb is fun though, maybe some more spells that mess with tiles (like swap any 2 tiles from anywhere, or remove 5 tiles in a column, things like that)? Anyway, fun game, thanks for posting it.
Not bad, but not good either. Repetitive gameplay, not much to do. Also, you want to continuously shoot, so make shooting default, don't make me hold down the mouse.
Almost a great game. I'd rated it 5/5 while playing, but dropped to 4/5 because the plot never advances and the ending is roughly "And it was all a dream". Looking forward to whatever you do next, there's greatness in here somewhere.
Neat idea, mediocre execution. The idea of using a simple game as a resource gathering method for a RTS is neat, and it actually made match 3 playable again. But the RTS game itself is lacking. No clear unit progression, no unit controls, no published unit stats, no upgrades, no resources upgrades, etc. Has potential, but not there yet. 3/5
Within the "endurance" games category, this is probably the best I've seen. Now, the whole concept of a game based on "endurance" is a bit like making the best perfume based on turds, but kudos for making an endurance game that's somewhat original and entertaining. 3/5
On the side quests, make sure you get the Death tarot (do the honey quest, then go back to the first screen where you start). The sacrifice move paralyzes an enemy for 2 turns. Use it on bosses to mop up their helpers, and use it on Cerberus to reduce him to 1 move per turn for the 2 turns.
Great graphics and sound, good gameplay in battles. Would get 5/5 except that the perks (the special skills) can't be mixed and matched. The level 2 perks only work if you have the corresponding level 1 perk. This means there are only 3 possible builds for each character, all pre-scripted, which removes a lot of strategy. I'm surprised that such an obviously useless constraint is in the game, it takes away options from the player for no clear reason, so -1 point.
Third, some notion of the current resources of the opponent. I get that some games like to hide that, but at least show us what each card costs when they play it. Anyway, thanks for the game, it's fun.
