I was not allowed to save for a while, is there some point in the campaign I have to be at to save? and I hit the esc key while in the options menu and it tells me security error, the operation is insecure

If you are getting security error, it means you are in firefox, and you have a wrong policy for cookies. In particular, you have disabled third party cookies at least. If you go to firefox settings, and change third party cookies to "always" it should work. The reason for this is that we are in kongregate.com but the game files are in konggames.com .Since it's two different domains, if you restrict 3rd party cookies, it will fail.
