Opponent plays a card with 1 attack and 1 defense. Somehow I am dealt 12 damage. I know there are variables working in the background that determine damage dealt, but it'd be nice to see what on earth they are. Right now it's just completely mysterious how much damage you're going to receive when you see a card played.
I understand there are a lot of aspects to this game. But sometimes it's just really unclear why, exactly, I'm being hit with, say, 8 damage when an opponent plays a card with 2 attack, or something like that. It would be nice to see some kind of explanation as to how the numbers are adding up as they do.
It was weird that I had to walk around a corner, but I could fire through it. I kept "leveling up", but there was no indication about what that actually meant. It looks fine and works, which is great, but I feel like there are much better alternatives on this site for games like this.
As others have noticed, 3x4 grid is too small. The shield is absolutely useless. There is a bug where when you're selling items you're given more money than they're worth. That bat is way too concerned with my junk.
It seems crazy that in the arena I should be awarded the same amount of points (i.e. 10) regardless of whether I beat a player with a rating of 1000, 2000, 3000, etc. Shouldn't I get more points for beating a tougher player?
Great old-school feel. I wish, however, that like in the old-school games, that when you die you just re-spawn, rather than having to start the whole level over again.
