Fun fact: firing as fast as possible, though ruining your chance of finishing a level, causes so many bubbles to spawn in that they can't contain themselves on screen anymore, and vibrate aimlessly at the edges. And also cause massive, massive slowdown.
I am a caring, bloated, and light footed fox. A fox who thinks this game is an absolute masterpiece. All the help from the Ohnem shrines was godsend, and that's coming from a player who never found all the mushrooms in game one. A work of art from start to end. 5/5
Strangely enough, I died less on Insane than Original... not to say that Insane doesn't live up to it's namesake though. Seriously, amazing game, but holy cows, is it ever hard! 5/5 for keeping me entertained even through the frustration.
Interesting glitch I discovered. Occasionally, the game will spaz out, your character will stop moving, stop attacking, stop everything, and the enemies nearby will all of a sudden overlevel and kill you in just a few hits. At which point the game freezes on a black screen and your two hours of progress goes down the goddamn tubes.

*works like crap, but Star Wars fans... c'mon. does that not look like a Jawa transport? plus it's like an over-built trampoline!*
