There is nothing to 'get' in the game if you haven't 'gotten' it already. Art is often meant to be interpreted on a personal level. If the artist hasn't conveyed what he or she wanted to convey, it's not our fault. It's their fault.
As for the game itself, it's pretty average. Even with the 'artistic' content. What. True art can't be fun?
3/5
Good concept, although there's less strategy here than 'grinding'. An option to speed up the game would be good.
For all those having trouble beating it, I suggest LAYING OFF travelling the millitary path for a while and focus on your resources. In fact, make a few longswords just to escape from battle. Diamond mines aren't that important, and from what I can see, adventurer's camps don't do anything at all. As soon as you can get 15k for every resource (FOOD IS IMPORTANT TOO!), start upgrading, researching, ect. I sorta sold all my stone late-game, and gold is always good. GET GOOD GENERALS. kthxbai.
3/5
Utterly buggy. D:
I was still using a general I fired.
Times keeps on passing even though I'm in battle.
Adventurer camp does nothing.
Even though I recall my army at 5%, the computer assumes I'm leaving from my destination.
Food keeps on running out.
No save game!
Not enough explanation. (Fortunately I've played games like this before)
Excellent gameplay, and a nice touch on the voices, although I would've enjoyed a bit more storyline progression instead of poor excuses to throw our little zombie into battle. :)
I also found the lack of a specialized weapon for my Guardian character a little unfair. Other than that, excellent game, if a little short & uninspired.
4/5
Interesting little game to play in order to kill time. However, a little more direction given would've been nice. I found myself replaying the same level five-six times just to find out where I was supposed to go, and to realize that those pink laser-thingos weren't meant to be bounced on. :o
The first few levels were entertaining, and then it began to get tedious afterwards. Other than that, I think the game's pretty solid, and deserves a 4/5, just for the innovation & level design, and to make up for the other horrible scores.
