The cost for level 2 blueprints says "54 homes built", but Buy is grayed out even though I have 140. What does "requires five times the cost" mean? Do I really need 270 homes built? But then why even say 54, why not just say 270?
Hey there, the reason for that is buying Blueprints before you have at least 5 times the cost of Homes will lead to your current population limit being decreased. To counteract that, I've built in the condition to have at least 5 times the cost at the ready. In the end, only the amount it costs will be subtracted from your current Homes. I hope this helps :)
"The scientific number notation displayed the wrong values sometimes. This has also been fixed."
Pretty sure it's still broken. Doing the first trial, 1E6 and 1E7 both seem to wrap around once.
I'm getting towards the end of the Blessings phase, and I notice that when you buy the buildings, the cat autobuyer becomes erratic -- sometimes it works correctly, sometimes it buys a few of the higher level cats, sometimes it won't buy any, sometimes it slows down and sometimes it just stops altogether, and you have to go to the tab to buy them manually. It seems to happen when you buy the lower level buildings (or maybe just the lowest level one), not the higher level ones. Maybe something's triggering too quickly and screwing up the game logic.
@Rainedraiden:
Boosts are random, hands-off events where (I think) one cycle of a sector gets a bonus to the credits and citizens earned. The sector glows for a second, and if you have sound on there's a soft "boom" noise. There are upgrades that can extend the effect to more than one cycle.
Breakthroughs are when the screen goes dark and one of the sectors shows a glowing light bulb. You're supposed to click on that sector as fast as possible; that sector gets a bonus based on how many clicks you got before time ran out. There are a few different bonuses, which you can see in the bottom center star system in the Specialist Map.
I *think* optimization is the segmented colored ring around the middle of each sector. When it fills up I think that sector's speed doubles.
For the Arktech "Cube of Multidimensions", when it says "Increases the effect per phase of infinite specialist nodes by 1% level", that refers to the planets orbiting the Interdisciplinary Projects star? My cube says current effect 10%, but the boost per phase is 9%.
If it's not that, I don't know. It could really be clearer.
One of my current galaxy bonuses is, "Upon unlocking GOPHERs in this galaxy, an additional 4 GOPHERs will be activated." A more accurate description of what happened when I unlocked GOPHERs was "Nothing".
The "decrease cost of (sector) by 0.5%" extensions don't persist between planets, do they? If they do, that's cool; but if they don't (and it doesn't feel like they do), getting those just feels bad because we already know the prices were already set with those 0.5% discounts baked in, so it's basically like getting nothing at all.
An option for numbers in greyscale would help a lot. Even using browser zoom like ac18rt recommends (which is absolutely crucial), it quickly becomes Eye Strain the Game.
I don't think I've ever played an idle game where prestiging felt this bad. All the mystery boxes gone, all the pain-in-the-neck alchemy bottles, gone. And the increases are meager. I can't do this, I'm done.
re: Speed 1950 vs 2000
My impression is that speed takes effect in increments of 100, so that 2000 is the same as 1901. Both you and the blue slime will hit each other, although I think the monster's damage takes effect first -- if you'd both do enough to kill each other, I think the monster wins and you don't get the kill. Once you hit 1900 I think you'll start hitting before the slime does.
Echoing what other people are saying about dodge -- the percentage feels way, way off. Fighting the thief with a 30% dodge against ~4.5% precision, I often see him dodge 5 or 6 times in a row, but I've never hit him 5 times in a row, which should be much more likely. I don't think I ever see magic strings of crits, either.
Fire damage leaves bad guys alive at negative health. Especially noticeable when going after the wind elementars, all dodging over and over again at -10 or -20 health.
The prestige system seems to be the pits. I started a second wizard for about 2 minutes, and sorry, no, I don't think so. That's all the motivation I can muster to do it a second time. Just so I can buy another action?
Hey there, I'll make sure to get it fixed ASAP, sorry about that :/
