@nano - another way to look at it. Bottom row starts with 4 browns at some point. By looking at the column labels, you know that brown can only be at the bottom of 5 of the columns, so you know those first four brown MUST be somewhere in the first 5 squares of the bottom row.
@nano - I went back and looked at that puzzle, you're not taking into account that like colors will be grouped together. First few columns are only red squares, and for those columns, all the reds are grouped in the lower columns. From there, you can figure out that lower left corner, then that will carry you through the rest.
@nanostronghold - I'm well into the 20x20 puzzles in free mode and I haven't yet had to do guesswork. At worst, on a couple puzzles, I had to use the golden coin to get going.
Great game, but PLEASE pick colors with more contrast!! Trying to see the gray and yellow on that background is really, really hard on the eyes, especially on the bigger puzzles when you have to zoom out.
