Erm.. kinda managed to break the game after the first platforms. When the hole appeared my character disappeared and then I could walk left and right to my heart's content, including out of the game world and onto a white canvas. Trippy, but no fun.
Loved the gameplay and the trippy visuals! The whole thing is really solid, but I found the one-hit-and-then-you-die thing just too annoying, especially after grinding to get a fully upgraded tank in that particular sector and restarting right back at the beginning < I know that's the arcade style but personally I would much prefer some sort of checkpoint system. 3/5 for a great 1st Kong game!
I really hate to say this but the upgrade system annoyed me so much I had to rage-quit. I kept accidentally choosing upgrades before I could even read them just by being in the center of the room when they appeared. The game seems really good, but the upgrade system totally ruined my chances to see just how good.
Dunno if it was just me, but I got a bit bored. All the fights were the same, and I did play enough to get up to Adept 6. The game's very well made but there just wasn't any incentive to keep playing as far as I was concerned...
I killed at least 5 vessels on my last run, but the amount I needed to kill to unlock the bestiary entry only reduced by one. Am I missing something or is this a bug?
Good game but the whole starting-back-at-level-one-when-you-die feature makes it rather frustrating as far as i'm concerned. Even though I really enjoy playing it I'm stopping because restarting it pisses me off so much!
Little trick I noticed... when you Time Freeze it the worms keep animating, so just pause every time you see one and you'll never miss it! + if you think this is useful ^_^
Wow there is a serious problem of the direction keys sticking when i click outside the game window... i initially did it by accident and now i can't friggin' reset them! Never happened with the last Bubble Tanks game...
