The balance between timing for crop production and crop harvesting is a pretty novel concept. I like that adding all of the highest paying crop isn't necessarily the most optimal layout, as crop output is still dependent on how quickly your helpers can harvet them.
@007sparta No problem ^^
I'd like a little clarification from the developer on how the weapons actually function. Are my heroes hitting for billions of damage when my DPS is waaaaaay higher? Or does the imbue factor in somehow? I don't quite get it....
Imbue gives each character in your party a certain amount damage. That amount is then multiplied by their Attack (which shows up under the party/upgrade screen after you click on them).
@xandramas, you just have to get the right heroes to advance quickly. With Kilroy (exp carryover on level) and Ally (increase exp gain) upgraded I can get back to disperse (in the 1000s) in less than a minute.
Great game. One thing I noticed, I upgrade the meteor spell to drop 10 seconds and it still says it takes 80 seconds. Also I upgraded the mages to cost 10% less and still says they cost the same (100 gold) Are the upgrades bugged or is it just not updating the text?
When you play "Heroic" and "Iron" modes the upgrades/unlocks rules may change, please check the rules at the stage selection screen. This is to improve the challenge at each stage. On campaign you can use all Upgrades.
@blob62. Not everyone is an English speaker. Judging by the use of 'Azote' for nitrogen I'm guessing that the designer is francophone (which makes sense 'cause I've seen the same sort of grammer-isms from Bezerk before).
Overall a good game. I disagree about it not being in the spirit of the other games...seems like they did a decent job of bringing the essentials of MC over to a platform shooter.
What I'm wondering about though is do the mini-bosses ever drop bonuses? It seems really backwards to me that I'm being rewarded for killing the mooks but not the big guys.
It's an alright TD but the targeting issue really kills the enjoyment...why do the towers target the LAST creep in line, letting the first ones through to the base? It makes no sense...
It doesn't feel as if I really have any control over the gameplay...the only thing to do is click the bottom row and hope that they can all be clicked before the screen fills.
2 things that would improve the pacing of the game:
1) A "The Usual?" button. These people pretty much order the same thing every day (sometimes the cooking time is different, but still...) Why do you have to listen to them tell you the same order? It could even be a challenge...you can go faster, but you have to remember exactly what they like...
2) Skip the tipping scene. I know it's supposed to tell you how you did, but it gets old fast and slows down the speed at which you can deal with orders. It's especially frustrating at the end when you're making them uncooked, uncut cheese pizzas you know they'll hate, just to get rid of them...
