People, the add on the front page says "War of Heroes Turn-Based Card Battles." War of Heroes is the card-based "minigame" that is unlocked after beating chapter 2 of the story. I was confused too, but don't worry, there IS a card game in here somewhere :P

Hey all you new players/people complaining about too much grinding: PvP gives way more money than redoing campaign! Standard arena (6energy) gives you 150 gold for LOSING. So you don't even have to win to get as much money as redoing an insane campaign mission. The 25 win bonuses per day also allows for even more money. At 550 gold per win 6 energy per match that is roughly 28 wins (with the bonus) for the most expensive pack. You could also just lose on purpose for the easy and fast 150 which would be quicker than trying to win a campaign mission. Please stop complaining about grinding because its not that bad.
@people who complain about 1 mana cost units taking the whole bar: its supposed to do that. the amount of the bar left over is transfered to the hero skill bar as the excess skill bar is transfered to the unit bar
