AI needs to be reworked. 1 of them always follows me and traps me along a side. Turn 151 so far and my Panda has not destroyed a gravestone yet, still lvl 1, I'm lvl 5. And then the store would be nice with all this gold I have no use for.
My suggestion would be to let the player give commands to the AI like "go to the store" or "Heal downed ally" or "all attack certain mob"
If you get a weapon with the same minimum attack as maximum attack, and you also have things boosting your minimum attack, you can get your minimum attack above your maximum attack. That should be fixed.
4 Star, solid game. A little short, but definitely spot on with the puzzles. Like the top comment of right now, they made sense, unlike doing a sudoku to open a drawer. Hopefully more will come from you.
Late game, the only challenge is beating bosses. I get around 10-15 fights in at least, before I have to eat food. Resulting in massive growth in skill level and massive deficit in health level.
A good starter tip if you really want to play this game, Hold the Left key while reading the text in the background. Helps get you a couple lvls while you're just reading about the game. + this so people can see it.
I enjoy this game very much, the only thing I don't like is that towards the end it takes a long time to level up, so I'm racing the same race over and over again until I unlock the next one at the next lvl up. My stats are maxed and I'm just racing to gain the exp needed to move on. Also, shop items seem pretty pointless to me, I almost never used the shop and came in 1st most of the time. Rated 5/5 regardless of it's faults because of it's successes. Keep on making these awesome games!
Hi. Thanks for the rating!!! I'm interested to hear more about your game, and what level's you got to when those dynamics emerged. Also if you used something else instead of the shop - e.g. more training. Will message you direct. (Reply from Playniac. Your rating helps us to make you more games!)
Not bad. It was an amusing game. Perfect for the "lunch time gamer" who doesn't have much time to play. 4/5 just because I would have liked it to be a bit longer myself.
Make it look a bit more aesthetically pleasing, if you could. Obviously expand on the story (Why is (s)he in a dark room, is there reasoning behind this lock up?)
Add a ton more screens and maybe like 2-3 options per screen. Have a couple dead-end branches that just serve the purpose of making you feel like you're getting somewhere, just to tell you you messed up a long time ago... XD
And try to make the death or end scenes more descriptive/make more of them.
Right click froze my guy, moving to a different screen made it so that I could not go anywhere else, zombie chilled on me for a while when I was reading comments and then my guy disappeared.
In this very limited model of a game, fix those and what you have is fine for a base.
And apparently decapitation is not a death... I decapitated someone, and then they decided to coninue attacking her until they hit her, which put her head back on her shoulders.
