Is the "missing this month" sign based on how far deep you are in the cave or how many times you've gone in... I had 5 people disapear in one day (went from level 30 to level 60 in one day)

You are completely right, it makes no sense counter still counting down the score while you can’t do a thing both start and finish animations. Too late to correct, wouldn’t be fair to other scores already made. Won’t repeat same mistake next time!
I love how even though my comments - and several others - weren't even rated like at all the developer still found the time to reply to them . It just makes you feel good knowing the dev is listening
Ok - I agree with reducing score for extra resources - what I don't agree with is the amount of resources given for score taken ...I was expecting somewhere in the realm of 20 gold/purchase/200 or so score taken away ... the shear amount of score reduced makes me wonder why there aren't more choices - purhaps a smaller 'I just need 20 extra gold to start with' for a bit of a less costly time purchase but still costing same number of gems?
Good point! Some people overused the extras so I simply cut down the initial score the same for all to 1000 points. Because some players would get so many gems by clicking "get gems" buttons and they would pile up immense amount of extra gold. Then they would start game, and just upgrade environment and finish game in less than 30 seconds. I admit, this was way too simple solution, but I didn't find time to adjust it better.
My idea is to invest time in creating a much better sequel in 2018. Hope you will play it as well! :-)
This game brings so many interesting questions like:
How does one feed fish to an egg?
How do you go down into the cave to feed the dragon?
Whose job is it to feed the dragon?
How does an EGG defend itself?
Why doesn't the dragon eat the dwarves after they flood it's home?
There's a glitch where if you pause at the right time (just as a level loads in) your character doesn't show... for those who want an even more challenging challenge try that glitch! all though I would prefer if it were an invisible mode (perhaps where the game shows you where you were a second ago but not now?) for those who want more of a (somewhat fairer) challenge
So... when you make an idle game you make it so that if you refresh the page for any reason all the progress you had goes away - even if that reason was your computer hung u_u

... I would *LOVE* to get reserch assistant - but I can't get to enough money to get to reserch assistant without losing half my energy because I'm not spending enough even with minimalism ... can I put in a goal of what I want for that so it doesn't hit me that hard...
The chain lightning spell seems a bit useless... perhaps allowing a square between the same creatures so it isn't almost always a single target spell would be nice

The one downside to this game is it feels more like a point and click find the specific object to use the specific way than it feels like an investigation ... if you won't let us go to the debate until we have found everything anyway why not just give us all the things we need to find highlighted or something? It just seems silly looking for the last clue or two not even knowing how many clues you have left and then after going through and no way of remembering what the clues actually are THEN you go into debate u_u
things take WAY too many hits to kill even minions take quite a few and the weapon powerups don't really feel impactful. Beyond that the bosses ... As an example baby digger has enough space to hit its weak spot of exactly one bomb ... an excellent boss idea except it's weak point is way to dang small which wouldn't be bad if I could get one of those to hit consistently instead of blowing up against the inside walls of the boss...
Similarly the big angular fish has a hit box of it's weak point of ... maybe 20 pixels if I'm being generous and is CONSTANTLY firing bullets you have to dodge - again if the hit box of the sucker was large enough that if your in position to hit it you usually do this wouldn't be a problem. these bosses are BORING me to death more than anything else... I should be rewarded for figuring out their pattern not punished especially in a game where you are supposed to be able to do it quickly if your skillful
... the butler asked for the day off - recieved it - and came back to ask for the day off again... do you *WANT* your day off or not - I can take it back...
There needs to be more gold opportunities - the wizard and vampire crystal are just as likely to kill people and reduce happyness as they are to give you money (and proceed to not even give you money for your trouble) and outside of sheer luck you have killing your own citizens for gold and the all too rare circus which seems to be the only way of getting gold without being evil in the processes ... Gifts being rare makes sense but it's just rediculous how you HAVE to be evil to not run out of money
