Sadly, although this is a good game in it's own right, I was very dissapointed with it since I was hoping for more of the dynamics that made Necronator 1 such a great game. When I saw Necronator 2 my hopes were very high, but very little in this game is similar to Necronator 1. I sincerely hope that in the future the Necronator 1 gameplay gets developed further and we get a real Necronator 2. Thanks anyway.
If you are looking for a great minimalist high speed deck that usually wins in 1 minute and 45 seconds consider getting
6-7 dwarven boon,
3 bag of crystals,
1 beholder,
4 barbarian,
1 skeleton warrior (not necessary),
3 ancient mines,
4 reaper bounties,
and two surplus requirement.
When the round starts, use the dwarven boons and and the rest of the free cost cards to build up your resources as fast as you can click. Then when all you have left are summons, you cast the beholder first and send out them in twos. Right before they get to the edge of the screen entering onto your opponents portal just start sending all the barbarians. If you do it right, you'll win everytime. Have fun.
First of all I never write comments, but felt I should in this instance. This game has potential but falls terribly short. As others have mentioned the reset glitch needs fixing, and some kind of ending after that huge ordeal would be nice. Aside from the aforementioned points the game needs some serious balancing. For instance some of the levels just aren't possible if you've pursued one tech tree over another. For instance on the limited money level I just couldn't beat it because I had pursued the economic tech tree. That was annoying but I was willing to choose another tech tree only to find the reset glitch everyone else has mentioned. In short, the game has a good concept but as it is now, I regret having spent any time playing it.
