The difficulty curve is interesting, I had a town under attack at the end, it blew me up with 3 dudes remaining, I gave up and attacked the king instead and dropped him without losing a dude.
Other than that and some pacing issues (repeatable training would be lovely), a damn fine example of what a flash game should be. Fun, simple yet challenging. 5/5
Found a 100% guaranteed strat about halfway into my first play (undead), repeated as both humans, demons, marcolites, both orcs and both elves, not tried trolls yet, but im sure it will work there too... Made the game a tad trivial but i finished it anyway just to see the two paragraphs of flavor text about how they are all bastards underneath anyway.
I'd love to know if this is still being patched or if there's a sequel in the works, this is, for me, the best TD on Kong at the moment, there's flaws, sure, be nice to have some sort of tech breakdown of the towers so we can see just how much upgrade we get for our dollars, maybe even a couple new maps and tower types (some sort of squad commander/buff tower) plus perhaps the ability to order soldiers to move if placed on the ground.
For me it needed clearer descriptions of unit types, option to have health bars on full time, turn music off without muting SFX, the much mentioned upgrades and perhaps change the generic "is gun" type turrets to actual period weapons just to add some feel to it.
Maxed str and rep without putting a single point into anything else, spawn from your home cell to every single blank one straight up and you'll have so many cells building at once you can just swamp the enemies.
This guy has the "Haters gon' hate" strut down-pat.
music is pretty good.
Could do with some fleshing out, an upgrade system or something, good start however!
Props for reminding me of Hot Wheels racing, negatives for handling issues, lack of explanation of how to get upgrade points, no difficulty slider, cant get into menu during race start countdown.
Not a bad start sir!
Sadly, microsoft browsers don't fully support WebGL; to play the game at its best, you should use Firefox or Chrome.
