First, I love the BT series. But I think it would be more interesting if there was an element of exploration involved. The current setup is that I have no incentive to do anything other than go in the same direction bubble after bubble. Instead, if you added a static map that would allow players to unlock more bubble areas via "keys", find power-ups or new items, and explore the bubble world a bit more, BTs would be much more exciting. In its current form, I get bored. I kill all the stuff and go down, rinse and repeat. No incentive for any other direction.
Tip: Put the majority of your points into damage dealing then put a few into Master craftsman, and then some in soul harvester. Regardless of the enemies weakness, points in damage dealing will let your initial set of units (I usually make archers or warriors depending on the map layout) own everything the first few levels so you can set up your harvesters and begin building specific units to the weakness of the enemies. Hope this helps!
Obviously the difficulty needs to be increased. Few other things that would make this game interesting: (1) Create variety in leveling up. For example, you can keep the three main leveling branches but have sub categories like firepower -> Missiles, lasers, bombs, minions; speed -> Missile speed, ship speed, minion firing speed, etc. (2) Give the bosses a bit more creativity, even gimmicks (like the second boss in this game had where you had to travel around his fire in a circle). Lastly, introduce an element into this shooter that gives the game something unique that other shooters don't have. Other then that, the 3d graphics give the game a neat style and the game play is smooth albeit easy. Great game, some room for improvement but a good start. Keep improving it and it'll be a great game.
The particles needs to flow at a constant rate. Many levels took much longer than they needed to because the rate would slow down. Other than that, decent game, 3/5
Great game. In addition to changing the color of the paint it would also make the game more interesting if you had levels with very limited amount of paint or levels in which you needed to conserve your ammo. I felt that I had an almost unlimited amount so I never needed to conserve.
Amazing game all around, beautifully polished. As everyone else said, just a few minor things that need to be reworked including movement fluidity, arrows telling you where the next 'rooms' are, and other minor bugs. Overall though, great job, this looks like a solid game.
If you've ever played machinarium you'll like this. The story and artwork are beautiful but it is short. If the author ever decides to make a full title with difficult puzzles and more depth this could be a masterpiece.
