If you quit a game in the middle of it, it isn't counted as a win or loss. You can probably get the winning streak medals without doing this with enough skill and tenacity but trying to get the zilch-free medals without doing it will take an average of approx. 15,000 hours. I don't think a lot of thought was put into the probabilities involved here.
The random number generator must be broken or something. I beat Realist (hard) a few times than switched to Reckless (easy) and couldn't beat him, every game he got 3 or more of the rolls that give 1500 pts and roll again. That's nuts.
It's a lot better than last time. You should make it so the bottom lifebar has a higher depth than the bad guys so they won't show up on top of it. This could be sweet once there's bosses and powerups &c
