The environment is bland. Everything is whitewashed and there doesn't seem to be any terrain detail. Neither the "sun" and moon move, but I'm ok with that. The sun is just a lightly applied glow brush and the sun and moon switch positions as day cycles. The sky is very nice looking, but is stationary.
First impressions as I load up the page, No mute button in sight and music blazing like there's no tomorrow. I listen to Pandora as I play flash games. I come to the stat distribution screen. The tool tips that explain the stats are vague and don't provide any numerical explanation of my points. I chose 30 in attack and 30 in dodge. Entering the game, there is no tutorial or visual cues of what you are supposed to be doing. The environment is frozen while some NPCs sit with their idle animations. I can look around while holding the right mouse button and using alt. There are several hotkeys, but that is irrelevent at this point. I cannot move at all, as I've tried every button on my keyboard and mouse. The attack button is non-functioning and when I click a spell multiple times, it gets taken off screen. However, there is a menu where you can re-equip the spells. The tool tips for the spells are buggy and flash very quickly on mouse-over.
Nice first try, but this game lacks in terms of graphics and gameplay. There is just one song and no customizable options or stats besides score and score multiplier. The graphics are poor and almost a little sad to see tbh. The thing about music based games is that the experience is delivered not necessarily by the gameplay itself, but by the combination of the music and the graphics. The music ends abruptly and it sort of kills the mood and the gameplay is basic and you could say it depends on some luck.
Well it took 29 wins on the first level to max out my team's health and accuracy. It took 36 to get the Retirement Fund achievement. Thats a little game breaking :)
This is an interesting concept of a game. How about a game where you're on a computer playing a flash game (a game inside a game) where you have to figure out how to cheat and hack your way though it. Put cheat engine and etc in it :)
Its like a cross between asteroids and geometry wars. Fun, but very basic. More modes, more customizable content, more gameplay variety. I don't exactly favor the music, but its not bad. Graphics are better than I thought they would be. A story mode would be nice as well.
Somewhat dull. There is nothing in this game that hasn't already been applied in other idle rpgs on this site. The arena, upgrades, full exp or full money, house with furniture upgrades; they were all done before and done better. If this was the *first* game in the apparent 3 game series, it would be understandable, but it isn't. My advice is to invent a new feature that would make this game more fun to play over the other idle games. 2/5
I also never ran out of oxygen once. I was really close on level 9, but as I ascended, I collected an oxygen tank and escaped in the nick of time. This game gets very intense as you run out of oxygen and scramble to the surface. If you could use dynamic music that changes as your oxygen runs out, it would make the game fairly intense :)
