This has potential to be a fantastic game, but it needs some fine tuning. My main suggestion would be allowing the player some time between waves to set up defenses and increasing enemy difficulty. As it is, you can pretty much play through the game using only basic attack skills. At least for the most part.
I mean, the game is fine, but it's pretty much just the first one with absolutely no apparent improvements. I enjoyed the first one, though. The problem is that the idea of a game sequel is to either continue a story, improve upon the original, or both.
It's a cute game. Really, my only complaints are the ones Unchainedcarter mentioned and that occasionally enemies will spawn on top of you, damaging you through no fault of your own. Otherwise enjoyable.
I would have liked this game, but there's at least one big issue I have with it. It is difficult to select which of the three units you want to move when they are standing right next to each other, and in a fast-paced game like this, being able to quickly select the character you want and tell him/her where to go is crucial. There are two easy ways to remedy this, though. At least, two easy ways that quickly come to my mind, anyway. One, you could assign keyboard shortcuts to quickly select the unit you want to command (i.e. pressing 1 would select Edward, 2 would select Gunther, et cetera). The other way I can think of is to allow a way to pause the action and select who does what while everything is holding still. As it is, though, it can be frustrating to select the unit you want. However, there was clearly effort put into this game, and for that, I give it three stars.
This is an amazingly well thought out game for a Flash game. It's a shame to know that it won't be finished. You could split the game into multiple parts, though. I hope you find a way to complete the game, for it really is excellent.
This game has much potential. I like the Minecraft feel to it, but it needs some serious fine tuning. For one, as other users have mentioned, armor needs to not take up inventory space and food needs to be more effective. Also, your hunger, thirst, and sleep meters need to fill up more slowly. I can barely get anything done before I have to run back to my house and/or go find food. It really takes away from the game. Also, when moving furniture and stuff in my house, I have to break through the roof first, which is annoying. I haven't been playing long, so these are the only major flaws I've found so far; if you fix these, you have the makings of a great Flash game.
There should be a way to control units in battle. Other than that, the game had potential and was entertaining to play, though it was annoying to have to travel all over the world to resupply my army with troops.
I love this series, but I feel like this end was too anticlimactic. I feel like there should have been more build up to the ending. You could have had more notes and messages and such to add to the tension, but as it is, it's a bit short and frankly not as eerie as the other parts of the series. Again, I love this series, but I'm gonna have to rate this one 3/5 because it could have been a lot better.
I'm only just starting out here, but this one is QUITE the step up from the first one, so kudos to you so far. A couple of criticisms, though. My first is about the leveling up and health recovery issues that Michanforever talked about. Maximum health and maximum EP increase when leveling up, but the current health and EP stay the same. I think it would be better if current health and EP were refilled when leveling up, or at least refilled by as much as the maximums are increased. My second complaint is that the voice acting needed work. :P
Thanks for playing! I don't know about restoring health to maximum, but having your characters recover the amount that they gained in the level up would have been a good shout.
Haha, I like the voice acting! XD
Oh, sorry, one more comment. The bug that does not allow you to scroll to the bottom of your captured Dudes list has NOT been fixed, at least not for me.
ik i suck at spelling
