I honestly don't know if it's the game or my computer, but my progress on this game has been deleted twice, and the data for my other games seems to be more or less intact. I give up on this game. :/ I enjoyed it, though, until I had to start over. And then start over again.
And yes, this feels far too repetitive. There needs to be something to make it more than just running in circles shooting. Maybe add abilities, obstacles to get behind, achievements with rewards, et cetera. Best of luck.
There is potential, I will give you that. But try adding more weapons, and try fixing the controls, because they're a bit wonky. Like, the character won't always jump when I hit the button. OH, and make the button to activate switches and things a different button, like E or something, because sometimes when I mean to jump, it hits the switch, and that gets frustrating.
I think it would be more fun at the end of each level in the post-level summary if instead of seeing just how the land changed over time throughout the level, if it also showed the spread of the populations of each team over time.
Oh, wow, this is worse than I initially thought. At first I thought the others who commented were being a bit harsh. Now I see they were not being too harsh at all.
Um... I'm sorry, but this is horrible... It seems like the choices were pure guesses as to which one kills you and which one keeps the story moving. There were no indicators as to which was the correct answer, and this was just overall bad. Sorry.
I agree with the majority of the comments thus far, but I'd also like to add something: there are several bugs and inconveniences. For one, the crafting materials. My page is FILLED with "Cat Leathers," et cetera, because it creates a new slot every time I earn one, rather than bundle them all together. Also, the achievements don't seem to work. I have fulfilled the requirements for several achievements, but never received any rewards. Also, the difficulty curve seemed a bit too steep. Everything cruised along fine, but then every three levels, I'd suddenly find myself getting killed in just a few hits. Particularly at level 10 and beyond. Other than that, this is a fun game.
I loved the music... Unfortunately, that's about it... :/ The puzzles were just far too simple, which I've noticed is the case in several of your games. I think you have a lot of potential, but I don't think you're living up to it quite yet. But I look forward to see what else you make.
I loved the concept--very dark and mysterious, spooky, even. It got a bit repetitive toward the beginning, but then things started to pick up. I hope to see more from you in the future.
I look forward to seeing this as a full game, with upgrades, more weapons, abilities, some sort of control over the other team members (formations, orders, et cetera) and various things like that.
