Great game! I finally got a character that made it really far, but when I reached a vault, I was swamped with reflective golems. As a ranger, all my focus had been on dexterity+range skill. I used up all my consumables (wands + scrolls) and used all of the terrain. There were still 5+ golems to kill. Eventually, I accidentally shot one of the golems and killed myself with a crit. Very frustrating. Is there any way to deal with that or is the ranger character useless in face of reflectiveness?
Would give it 5 stars if not for the significant amount of content that is only accessible on steam or via the Magician's pouch. Otherwise, great game.
Tip: to defeat the final boss, make sure you bring one of each of the final classes into battle. Use the Medica to heal and your paladin to soak up damage. The Scholar is essential to prevent the final boss from casting the annoying red circle of death and the sniper will do most of the damage (as a very high dexterity is required to surpass the final boss's ridiculously high def). They don't need to have extremely high stats (600 main stats full equip worked for me). You can beat the game with two blue (medica and paladin) and two green students. They all need to be lvl. 30 so they can use their final equips. Remember, you can only get blue or yellow students if you pay 10,000g. Make sure to promote your students according to their higher stats at the time of promotion (High Phy = Knight, High Dex = Scout, High Int = Magi). The ideal number of students to have is 24 = 20 can go on errands while the main 4 solve quests.
Really nice game! I've spent some hours playing it. It could be better if the interface was a little bit more friendly: for example, if we were able to fire employees, cancel projects, relocate employees from one project to another, cancel training, etc.
Really really reeeeeally boring. The last quest consists on an endless stream of monsters that you can kill in 4 turns (max), but will steal a couple of hours to finish.
You mean the glowing pedestal right before the entrance that tells you it's an endless cave? ;)
