Game is very random, balance is poor. It's not very much fun. Interface is VERY buggy, sometimes clicks register, sometimes they just deselect everything: *VERY* annoying.
Visually striking, but the game mechanic is kind of old. As an art project, most of the scenes fall somewhat flat. I could very much appreciate the passed out in the bedroom scene.
I'd like to see more where the details of the rotoscoping more reflect the emotion in the scene.
Animations, while technically smooth, are not very natural. The difficult curve is quite steep (400 max in every category? Give me a break.)
The 'random move' dynamic isn't that good. We should have the ability to customize our deck (e.g., you have to buy new cards, as well as stats- so if I'm a magic user I don't get a hand full of level 5 sword attacks.)
3/5
I like the steampunk feel, and the graphics are very nice. However, as an earlier poster wrote, there's not much variety in the weapons. The experience and levels aren't well reflected- what does experience do? Fire rate? reload rate? Damage? Maybe give points so that you can upgrade your weapons using experience..
