Fun for a while, but the last few levels were just a headache. I wish you would have stuck to more simplistic puzzles, that were more about placing blocks according to the map layout, instead of according to where the power-ups were.
Don't you hate when you don't miss a note on a song and you think you got a perfect, celebrating half-way before the song even ends, but then you don't get a perfect, because apparently you didn't hold a note long enough?
After your barricade limit is past one, you can sandwich yourself between multiple barricades. It seems so counter-intuitive in a zombie game, but I did manage to beat level 2 of Home without taking a single hit.
Got it! It helps to look ahead of your character (i.e. look all the way to the right). If you hear that nuclear bomb sound, slam your spacebar/c/x: you'll thank me later.
It was really fun for a while. It had this Diablo-like feel to it, which I loved, but now I just can't bear to continue playing. It just seems repetitive now. It would help if the areas were more level-intensive (i.e. less lower level monsters in higher level zones). I also don't appreciate having to walk 10-15 blocks just to get to the right questing zone, which you often have to do after you finish a quest, because the next quest is in the opposite direction, so the town portal you just used becomes useless.
If there's a certain section of a level that's tripping you up, you may want to recreate it in map maker to save some time. I'm doing that with the Map Pack version.
Heck yes. I finally have all 1010 coins. I AM THE GUY!! Now, if I could just get this Badge to process... And yes, I've been saving this comment since I started the game.
