These guests must be demented. They expect a two-star hotel to have a bowling alley... I don't think I've ever stayed at a hotel that had a bowling alley.
Youtube video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yq9HOHdee0&feature=channel_video_title, because I'd rather do another runthrough of this game than study for exams.
I just got 1147 ft on the Hatchback Challenge! I got 732 ft on day 1, $12k on day 2. First day, I upgraded wheels, engine, transmission fully, fuel to 8/10. On day 2, I upgraded fuel and boost, bought one upgrade of gun. On day 3, only upgrade boost.I basically saved my boost until the last hill and used it all. I am fully convinced that the boost is way more important than the gun.
Okay. After playing through half the game, I prefer the crafting in this game;; you really don't need to do much grinding buying mats and wasting them on Artistry like in Crusade.
Day 3: Pre-run: Spend the rest of your money on the gun.
Run: There are two key tips here. First, save your boost until the last up-hill (before that annoying wall of crates). If you do use your boost before then, you must use no more than a smidgen of it. Boost on the last uphill, and you will go soaring as before. This is important: stop boosting as soon as you go into the air. Now, it will not be enough to completely pass the crates, but it should be enough to get you on top of the crates. You will most likely run out of fuel before you hit the crates, but that's okay! With the last of your boost, use your momentum to reach the 1000 ft mark(wheelie).
Day 1: Upgrade fully Transmission, engine, and wheels. Upgrade the rest on gas.
: Aim for at least 730 feet. Never release gas. Do a wheelie to make it easier to crush zombies, if you have 60 or less mph. Otherwise, they will go splat like a knife through hot butter.
Day 2: Upgrade gas. Buy the booster and the gun. Upgrade booster.
Run: Aim to get at least $10,000. To do this, you'll need to utilize the boost to pass zombies. It takes a little practice, but the idea is to boost on uphills. If you do it right, the uphill will act like a ramp, and your hatchback will fly, at least temporarily. Do this effectively; that is, you will need between 0.5-1.5 seconds of boost to make this work. You will not need your entire boost gauge to do this.
