@yeth_hound/darkkiddo: the point is you're building defensive units. fighters are the better choice at first, but at the game progresses you hit a unit cap where having things that can withstand a beating are more important.
When you increase your initial mana, it slows your regeneration growth. I avoid that upgrade and find I will end up with much more mana ultimately. While it might be a play decision, seems weird that you'd have to use precious upgrade points to do as such.
This has been a cool game, but for the maker of the Epic War series I figured it would feel more flushed out. It just seemed to not have much innovation or different play styles. You just play, upgrade, play. Feels like a computer could master this better than a human.
Pretty interesting RPG. I see a lot of comments that this is similar to Maplestory and being a person who loves RPGs and hates MMORPGs I appreciate you letting me experience what single-player gameplay would be like.
This was a very fun game to play and I enjoyed it alot. For the future try to find ways the player can beat the game without being maxed out, allowing more replay value and less of a linear feel. Lots of fun to play this style though; I greatly enjoyed this game.
@lionrecorder: you heal when you reach your destination; additionally running from faster units doesn't work too well, its the big baddies that you can get away from more quickly. Is that minor of an issue really worth crippling this game with a 2/5?
I apologize garin, I definitely should have been more specific. I would like hotkeys to use the skills in battle, all of that clicking just grows irritating after awhile and I'd prefer to be able to direct most of the battles through the keyboard.
For instance #'s 1-6 should be used to select which skill a character is planning on using in battle.
Fireball also seems to be a fairly useless spell, there are only rare instances of when I'd use in combat over the lightning ability.
All-in-all this an incredible game and I really do appreciate all the time and effort you put into it for us.
