The game concept is good but it is too buggy. The slots gets mixed up. My spells actually displayed another spell icon and my fifth spell got moved to the middle of the screen so that I can't remove it or use it without pressing "5". And the game did not give me sufficient information on how to actually play the game. I did not realize the game has "turns" the first time I played it. I am still confused on exactly how speed works. Once I did figure out how the game works the game was rather enjoyable. This game would have a higher score if it wasn't too buggy and if it had better instructions. Please fix the bugs, I can't bring myself to give a buggy game anything above a 3/5 even if the concept it good.
@Monoman03 Yes, people on Kong tend to rate down comments that go against the majority, but you should realize that his comment consisted of one word with very bad grammar "lame,." It's a very short message that doesn't even tell why he thinks the game is lame and overall just seems plain rude. If he had given a reason, it might have not been rated down so much. Even still, people tend to protect what they like. It's human nature, after all. And you should realize this is the internet. People will do as they please. He can say his opinion and people can attack it. I probably would find more merit in your comment if you had stood up for someone with constructive criticism that actually relates to the game rather than someone just saying "lame,." Also, you say people should respect each others' opinions, well let me tell you that rating down a comment is also an opinion. But yeah, you are right, we should think for ourselves, too many people follow the crowd.
This game is very fun, the AI is very good and a lot of playability options. That being said, I think level 5 is too hard for your average player. It's frustrating taking on your 3 neighbors only for that other AI with 100 armies pop outta nowhere... I can only imagine what horrors will await me if I ever get to level 6.
For those wondering why they don't have enough skill points to max everything after reaching max level, it's because you didn't get all the achievements. You get 1 skill point for doing the "veteran" achievements, and another for doing the "scout" achievements.
Great game, that is one kick-ass grandma. 5/5
Yes, harder and nightmare are more luck based than the easier difficulties. But I think you'll have to play differently in the harder difficulties. What I did to help me win was instead of defending I sent almost everyone out to do missions (under 15% risk). I put finding survivors as the highest priority and eventually I had more leaders to find more survivors faster. The only people I kept in the station was the non-skilled survivors so that they could convert to soldiers (until I got a school). I constantly attacked zombies and only put people to defend when the horde was next to my walls. So basically, I was more aggressive and I found it easier to win the harder difficulties. Maybe I just got more lucky than a few of you, but I did replay it like 15 times... anyways good luck to those yet to get the hard badge!
