"For Mac Users, you need to put 'local save.txt' file in /idbfs/5b6b8f1bfb12d7ede76dd9c9944e7f96" - where do I find that? I'm new to Apple's hidden file system
Twelve years have passed since I was happy to finally get the 'last' badge... Now the nightmare has returned with even worse badges and the game didn't improve a bit. Luckily my save still exists unlike other old games with new horrible badges...
How about using relics to get more gods? They could boost income and new followers. I'd definitely like to be able to have Odin and Thor and Tyr and Freyr and Freya and not stick to one of them!
So, I see this game got badges, but was not optimized to be playable here on kong for a lot of people. I played the downloadable version as advised in answer to my comment in january, but that does not earn me the badges here. Work on this, please!
In the beginning I thought this was a nice game for a badged MMO. Then it got a bit boring with the long troop building time.
But that was okay for me as well until I got the first freezes where some parts of the game didn't want to load. I didn't mind that much either, but when I got attacked the whole game was highly unplayable because nothing would load. So I lost lots of cities and therefore merely interest, because, hey, just attack me when you don't want me to play!
I would have loved to play this game, would have even accepted some performance problems, but I don't tolerate being forced to install another browser to be ale to play just one single game.
Hi Pferdehintern, sorry for the inconvenience. Postbug is a HTML5 game and relies on WebGL to run. Unfortunately, Postbug does not play well on browsers that have poor HTML5 support. Even though Postbug is in beta, I've tried my best to keep Postbug builds stable and robust. Both Chrome and Firefox have had rock solid HTML5 and WebGL support for a while now, and I prefer to support these browsers and focus on developing the game (next piece in the pipeline is a level editor). What browser and operating system are you using, Pferdehintern?
"The next city is in sight, but we're out of fuel!" - "Damn, let's bring back the truck to where we started!" - "But that's farther to go!" - "I don't care!"
Why invest the time to make such a huge Screen and so many graphics? Just put a button in the middle of the Screen and let People click them. Add texts like "don't you dare clicking me!" if you want. And for the fun add a longer break after 1k clicks or so or let People pay for clicking on. would save you devs a lot of time...
Hey do check out the downloadable PC/Mac version on Itch.io which should run better than the WebGL one! Apologies for the lag!
