lol @ "You Rock"! I love the control scheme... it reminds me of when I play shooters... run fast and shoot backwards! Oh, and I finally got the hard badge... on my 5th try with 160,330.
The levels with the black squares seemed to be the easiest... but I like the variety of alternating between tough and easy levels. The toughest levels for me were 16 and 19. Fun puzzle game!
Great game! The animation is excellent, I love all the hidden things in the background, and the physics are very fun. I love how the game itself is relatively easy but the unlockables are challenging. Just a few minutes ago I rounded out my wardrobe by getting all the snail shell goals.
@Gunner_Vine -- you got the impossible starting in South Africa? Very nice! Countries would start shutting stuff down whenever I would infect around 50-100 million people, so I could only consistantly infect every country if I started in the smallest countries (Greenland, Cuba, or New Zealand)... although luck would still factor in. How did you kill everyone in less than 100 days without drug 4? In my opinion, it seems that drug resistance is only needed because it speeds up the death rate... so I bump it to 4.
This game is awesome! Too bad I stink at geography. :P I'm going to keep working at this one... I want to earn that Hard badge, and I've already gotten a few strikes (my first strike being Honolulu).

For everyone posting the "It's easiest if you start in Madagascar" guide, that may work, but I have never even gotten close to <100 days for the impossible badge starting there because Madicascar has few ships leave the port.
Pandemic 2 Walkthrough by PhantomChick
1) Pop in your favorite CD, and grab some snacks. You’re going to be here for a while, as the impossible badge is based on luck
2) Restart until you are a virus starting in Greenland, Cuba, or New Zealand
3) Sell your starting symptom and buy Sneezing
4) Buy Cold, Heat, and Moisture Resistance 1
5) Once your disease infects another country, sell Sneezing
6) Wait until you infect the entire world. If any country closes off before they are infected, restart. Sorry!
7) Open up tier 2 and 3. Buy Sneezing, Coughing, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Pulmonary Edema, and Hemorrhaging
8) Once they start developing a vaccine, buy Drug Resistance 1 through 4
9) Wait until the Healthy Population is down to < 1 Billion, then buy as you are able: Hypersensitivity, all of tier 1, all of tier 2, Depression, Ataxia
10) Bask in the glory of the uninhabited planet. Perhaps rename it to something like "PhantomChick Land"
I got the impossible badge! It took me forever, but it's mine, all mine! Since the impossible badge is based on luck, a "quick restart" feature would be perfect.
Easy but fun! In some cases (like the pregnant bunnies shooting their babies at the bar) the game is quite enjoyably disturbing. Between the violence and language it would be nice to have a warning to kids before the game loads. Or perhaps a violence/language setting?
