considering this is basically the same as the previous (which has badges), except worse, and then the many high profile games people have been clamoring deserve badges, I'm not sure. Hold on... wasn't this game kongregate-sponsored again..? -_-
kong rules state that only games can be uploaded. As it's interactive it may be considered enough of a game to not be deleted. people should probably be flagging, not rating 1/5, so kong can make that decision
as for complaining about bitching, hypocrite much..?
begins really promisingly... then u realise there's really very little more to see and that the game remains strategically pretty shallow (and that 90% of what strategy there is takes place prebattle, not that that's a particularly bad thing). story swiftly tapers off. no option for turning off animation to speed things up when u get bored of seeing the same few moves over and over again. Scoring is pure time>skill, with 'lowest level to complete game' being an example of a good measure of strategic ability while 'highest level' being worthless. this being the single highest rated game on kong is just sad. sure as flash rpgs go this is pretty top notch but that's really not saying anything at all.
changing direction while moving is a little slow, scoring rewards avoiding rather than killing which would be fine later in the game but risk/reward isn't balanced to encourage high numbers of snakes, spamming is a more effective way of killing than aiming (and how fast you can hammer space is a key factor in effectiveness here rather than a gameplay based skill) and it's difficult to tell what direction you're facing in while stationary. 3.5/5
gj on the api, but the exploit I hypothesised earlier devalues it somewhat. Left the game minimised for a couple of hours to demonstrate (see high scores), if I'd done it overnight it would be about 50k+ probably. Just change that level or add something like a 20 hit cap on greys.
i actually quite like minesweeper... this is worse than ms though in just about every way and appears to have been made purely to advertise the linked iq test. 1/5
having to keep mouse inside area makes this method of control fail imo - when I play games like this it's to acheive best possible times. Aside from that this doesn't even have a timer nevermind API.
this would probably be more fun with more emphasis on precision, slowing gameplay down and utilising planets' gravity for targeting in the style of that space golf game.
