nice concept, should be good for pianists playing fugues! The way rotation is handled is pretty harsh though.
Suggestion for a v2 - have the 2 areas screens move around the screen as well O.o An 'options' would be nice.
this is how to easily get the first badge (I can't do the second)
-powerup with ~20 shield, ~5 speed, 0 all else
-try and kill most ships with the green rock (if you do this you should enter the final level with ~1200-1800 life)
-on the final level, hold down lmb throughout so your rocks cover the screen and cycle around the edge of the screen heading for the biggest clumps of ships, avoiding repulsors and blue/green mines
-if you end up really small from hitting the wrong mines it's a bit of a vicious circle but draw it out a bit by releasing lmb for a sec to switch to the biggest meteor
interesting concept but ruined by focusing on uninteresting technical skill rather than more engaging puzzle-solving skills thanks to poor aiming mechanic.
unknown ruins - max mage skill tree, tiling, +xp then drop a load of fire mages (generalist with 0-1 specialist) where they have most coverage, with 1 of other mage types added later if you want (specialist). Same as everywhere else basically.
This game just needs 2 more enemy types - one that prevents in whatever manner spending most the game mindlessly spamming bazooka/shotgun and one that can fly over barrels/fake walls (or alternative solution for the barreling up entrance cheese). Preventing the latter would help a lot with the former.
Awesome game anyway but it'd b nice to have an interesting challenge other than those self-imposed.
The barrels are pure genius.
could use better instructions, until you've nearly completed scenario you're totally unprepared for modes like crossfire. hence the ppl going straight for badge seeming to spontaneously combust, presumably.
Also could use less happening offscreen.
still one of the best games on kongregate 5/5, I particularly like the tech development aspect here it's not just the usual +1 damage or +1 health or +1 refire type options but has significent effect on gameplay and you can take completely different upgrade routes successfully.
either my 3:9:2 upgrade ratio that did so well earlier can't handle level 21 or i just suck as a result of having just completed 120 repetetive levels by holding down fire and running away. either way 2/5.
