More of these? Oh yes please. Also, the mobile version is nice, i was jus getting bored of my previous goto puzzle for boring moments.
One thing that needs to be said about these. Yea there are some hard parts, and some levels need real hard thinking, but mostly playing is just relaxing and not mentally taxing. The game is replayable, and it's rare for puzzles. Knowing how to do things does not take away from doing it being still extremely satisfying.
Oh. I already left a comment. But one thing needs to be said. I'm colorblind, red/green. Somewhat severely but not all the way. So. Yea. The contrast with the colors is good enough that even i can see which are which. That's rare on colorbased games. Though i do still like the idea for a special colorblind mode for those with even more severe case. With for example a symbol of sorts added to the dots and the endpoints of lines.
Almost forgot to rate. By the way people. Kongregate uses the ratings you make for the recommendations it gives you. So better to be somewhat loose with the 5 star. You can use it to see faster when a game you may like has been made.
And for why i enjoy this game enough for it. Relaxing. I was going to comment about how this lacks in challenge, but on the later levels there is that too. But yea. Mostly for relaxing and playing with colorful stuff.
There will be new levels, but I would like to improve the interface a bit, maybe add some theme to the game: creating seals on envelopes or coloring butterflies with the help of these mechanics and it will take some time...
You know what upgrade i'd want for prestigeing. Get the first defeated enemies stats as permanent, It's most likely bat for so many times, but there are reasons to start with slime.
It'd give the player a way to become extremely strong, if they play the game for really long time, but it's be also really slow progress to get, with each prestige taking more than half an hour initially.
I ran out of things to do on the first day i played this. Been waiting for an update since. More stuff to upgrade on porestige would give me a reason to replay for weeks. It doesn't take much, just a small upgrade i can get for an infinite amount of times. Something that seems almost meaningless. But only almost. So. Yea. Please?
Phuh. Finally. At the start of the last month i decided i want to get all the EBF badges before flash shuts down. Today i got all from this one, and tomorrow i will start on EBF3.
Well i have an uncompleted save on it already. So not as much of start as start to seriously aim for the badges.
Another fine game by you. I like these brain teasers with really simple rules that end up getting complicated anyway. The levels never got hard as a puzzle, but that doesn't matter for this type. At some times i had to pause and think for a while, which means it's plenty hard enough for a game that aims primarily to relax. There is a change that the levels would be harder, or just longer and more complicated, but i think it would just take something out of the experience.
If you make more levels for this, it may become more memorable. The shortness was a bit of a disappointment, but like aurie and axiel, your games seem to be more aiming at creating the engine and mechanics. New ideas and such. Anyway, more levels would be appreciated, but not necessary, i may even replay this for relaxment sometime later.
Hey. Another colorblind here. I'd like a colorblind mode on this game, the idea seems enjoyable. The simplest implementation that comes into my mind would be to have a line between the starts and stops when you press spacebar. Since the colors used seem to be very important for the overall look of the game.
I'm going to ask you too.
What programming environment do you use. I'm getting frustrated with the previous one i have been using and need this kind of 2d environments.
Hey. An idea on the lives thing, people seem to be quite against it. Feeling limited breaks the feeling of relaxment a bit. Soooo. Rebranding it as energy would make it seem less a lethal limitation. When it runs out it'd have to fill up before being able to make a move again. It'd still serve the purpose of click everything being a solution.
Aaand also a question. Which programming environment you use? A game i'm developing needs somewhat similar mechanics, it's block based. And i'm growing a bit frustrated with unity, it's not really suitable for 2d..
Thanks for suggestion I'll think about it, although lives (hearts) are much more intuitive as to what will happen when they run out. I'm using Construct 3, it's more limited than Unity, but it is much easier to use and much faster to create 2D games with.
Interesting how the game is replayable in the other mode. The levels are same but it's not really possible to memorize the solutions, so playing it in the other mode first makes it feel like there are double the levels.
Also. I need to get rid of my uncomfort of playing on a phone. The play store games support the creators a lot more than kongregate add revenue. And a lot of new levels so it's a win win.
By the way. Does kongregate give ad revenue at all. I'm uncertain of that, none of my games have gotten complete enough that i'd bother releasing them so i don't really know..
I kinda want that countdown mechanic on the new levels too. I just played unpuzzleR yesterday and it left me wanting more, so i started up this first one. And oh boy is the countdown thing enjoyable. Just a little feedback here =)
I found an interesting bug. For some reason the enchanting on my iron longsword crossed 100% done. I was doing the first enchant on it, and it cleared off the list. And when i clicked it to put a second level of enchant on, it flashed on and disappeared. I clicked it a couple of times and saw the % flashing, and going over 100%
Every time i started it, it increased the hit rating, and didn't consume the arcane gems.
It's hit bonus is now 308. I'm still going to ditch it if i find a weapon with more damage, but yea it's cool. And it bothers me how it happened.
Just as enjoyable as the previous ones. A little on the easy side, but still needed some thinking in the middle of relaxed flipping. I came across this game close to the sleeping time, and this was the perfect last game to play before night.
Some mechanic for, for example, ascend and take control of your apprentice, would be appreciated. I ran through the wizardrylevels, and have come to regret some of my decisions. I'd like to see other branches too, no matter how little difference they make gameplay wise. And it'd give something for the more active players to do while waiting for the new updates, i've ran out of stuff to do. Starting out again with a small bonus chosen from, maybe money gain, mana regen or floorspace, would make this game many times more replayable.
The level 36 had me stumped for a while. And it's morning and i have stuff to do, so i was slightly afraid when i put the last piece in place. Turns out it was the last level. Given the timing and addictiveness, i was kinda relieved.
Want more though. This was enjoyable. The first one was easy and relaxing, this was more of a challenging puzzle. Both enjoyable in their own means.
If the next part is in development, i'd want sets of levels with both rulesets. They make so much different experiences that having a set for relaxing and for brainteasing would be just awesome.
I love the mission teams dedication to their work. Sometimes they get their eyebrows split, sometimes they get their heads eaten. But no matter what happens they are just as eager t go on the next mission.
