Sorry. When I said earlier this was a "great game", I hadn't been playing it for long enough and I didn't do it justice. This is a truely beautiful game to play. A game of extremely rare quality.
And it's nice and long too.
Ahahah that's true! This started as a project just to improve my programming but it turned into this. Pico-8 isn't the best tool for a full fledged game that has lots of features, but it's pretty fun because of its limitations. It makes you think out of the box and makes you more creative, at least for me!
Sorry, pico-8 is really limited input-wise, but I programmed a javascript hack to make it work with space too, so you can use it to jump and select levels!
Interesting but the game crashes for me. I was getting quite bored of seaching for that store to buy a torch anyway.
Love the premise. Typical top down format would have been more enjoyable (no crashing, easier to find stuff). Really like everything you've written, in-game and game description. I'll leave it unrated.
Looks well made but I'm in third dark area. Not interested in spending the whole game like that. I'd say this is a new, unpopular fashion. I'll give it three stars, but personally not gonna finish.
It was beautiful, but.. what are you supposed to do on the last level? (level with the other person) Is there no ending? Are you supposed to make the other person touch the ball?
Whatever it is, I got tired of trying. And that's not a good thing.
Very good and original. I personally won't carry on playing without checkpoints though. A couple of levels was enough.
Very obvious your first two lvl 1 fans aren't real people, but whatever.
Thanks!
