Needs more ponies.
Good game, although I don't really see the point of having to hold the mouse down when that's practically what you have to do all game. It'd be a smaller strain on my fingers to just have the bee follow the cursor automatically. Keep up the good work! ^^
I honestly don't think I've played such a buggy game in a LONG time. I've had to restart countless times because the game froze or something else broke. I would've given it a 5/5 otherwise, but struggling so much to get anything done makes me knock the rating down to 1/5.
The game itself wasn't Nerdook's best, I'll admit that, but the annoying use of memes is what killed it for me. I struggled to even give it 3/5 to be honest. :(
I was going to give this a 4/5 but the lack of a mute button is pretty bad in my book, especially since this is the third game in a series, so the dev obviously has the coding skill to do it. 2/5
For the Master level with 6 colours I can give one small tip and one big tip. The small one is that the brown squares form a frame. It should be pretty obvious how it goes. The big tip is that the level is SYMMETRIC. Hope that helped ya!
While I wasn't a fan of the large ammount of grinding needed, I must say I really liked the various upgrades, and the out-of-the-norm weapons. Also, grats on the game geting badges.
5. Don't neglect armor, though. That 8 armor 10STR chestplate might be great, but a plain 25 armor chestplate is better. If you have trouble killing the enemies, get more armor faster.
6. Play carefully till about after the 10th floor (floor number is boss health bars -1), it starts getting easier from there, with 2-3 level ups/floor, and much better equipment(armor/damage in the 40s-50s).
7. Though your spells are weak, don't neglect to use them. Extra damage from a charge/crit, entangling a boss to be able to regen your health or shielding yourself from a boss are all effective, even if you an only do them 3-4 times.
8. My stats on floor 15 were: Level 28, 1010 HP, 290 MP, 72 Armor, 93+13 STR, 45+5 STA, 40-53 damage weapon, and resists buffed to 95 when using the resistance items.
Thanks to the guys in Cafe Kong for their help.
Having gotten the hard badge, I can share my tips with you.
1. Get Golem Cursed, the resistances REALLY help out later(mostly fire and ice). Use starting talents that give you STR or STA. You want to level 3 points in STR and 1 in STA on each level up.
2. Items with bonuses(especially STR and STA) are higher priority than than those with armor.
3. I think 3 points of STR = 1 damage, thus, prioritize damage over stats on weapons.
4. Only lure 1-2 enemies at a time, and even so, fight them only with full hp and mana, you never know when you might pull more by accident. Also, the only real threats you should face are the ice chargers and fire knights, save some high ice/fire resist items and switch between them and your main set.
Comment 1/2
Golem/Cursed already starts with 40 res, so an item with 55 resistance will make you almost immune to their attacks.
The game is pretty interesting, but the difficulty is pretty lacking. If you want to get the most out of your levels, hack all the computers, then just cycle ringing through as many phones as possible till you run out of processes(Make sure you keep the multiplier at x10), then hack the mainframe. On the final levels you can get at least 5000$/run.
For day 5, make 2 walls of 10 flaregunners, then add 3-4 flamers and 2-3 imploders on wave 11(depending on your money), then add to them until you have ~5 flamers and 5 imploders(use #1 when you're having trouble). Then add about 5 beam gunners(when you have <5 place them at the edges in an X shaped firing lane). On the final wave use #3 to help do some extra damage to the hunters, #4 for a lot of damage and #1 extensively each time the wall of hunters gets too close.
My suggestions for the hard badge are: Do days 1 and 2 on hard(easy enough), do day 3 on easy or normal, then days 4 and 5 on hard. For day 4 use power #2 for the first wave, #3 for waves 2-9, #4 on wave 10(try to pop it as late as possible), then for waves 11-15 use #3 again(with #1 if you're having trouble). For waves 15/16-19 use #3 till the infested are almost at the ship, then use #4. Finally for wave 20 use #3 and #4 then hold them off with #1 while the cooldown is reduced.
Some tips: 1) Upgrade what hurts you, if you die because of military, get kevlar for example. 2) The gun is useful but not much past its first level, same with horn(unless you have trouble avoiding civilians/mutated zombies) 3) Line up choppers with the signs early, but swerve if they start shooting and the sign is a long way away 4) In the final sections sometimes it's easier to avoid the zombies too, because it doesn't break your pace and you probably don't need the RP. That's what I can think of on the spot, so good luck!
To kill Tom Stone in madcap is very easy indeed, just fly around him at all time with max or at least max weapon upgrades and keep on shooting! You have a LOT of energy by that time (if you've been thorough with your upgrades) so you shouldn't run out during the battle. Also get the bananarang, it helps a lot with the whole game actually.
Thank You! ^^ Okay! I need change mouse control!
