MadCrimson and zakemcfake: It is completely intentional that the pink creatures are harmful first and helpful later. This is part of the puzzle that you need to unlearn what you learned in the first part of the game.
We just implemented a feature that was requested by a lot of players: If you complete a world, the next world will be unlocked in the title screen, so you don't need to play through all levels again. Thanks again for your feedback, folks!

@Pustulio: You actually have some control over the ball depending on where you hit the ball on the paddle. I could have pointed that out in the episode, but it is already pretty long, and I rather would like to make it shorter and more compact instead of adding more information.
