Having played the original populous, this game feels to me like a poor copy. Having limited depth and features (and a tiny screen, and no right-click) just goes with it being a flash game, but that doesn't let you off the hook for the other obvious UI problems.
There is no way this game would rate 4+ stars in 2016. Kong, you need to start weighing recent user ratings more heavily than the old ones. Stop giving BotD to these old, bad games.
