The new right click scroll feels a bit clunky. Because there's no actual scroll bar your have to move your mouse down to scroll the page up and vice versa. The up/down arrow that your cursor becomes when right clicking does help, but I don't know where I started the scroll, so trying to stop it is like finding an invisible dot middle click at least goes back to it's 4 directional circle when you get back to your start location. The scroll only has one speed, fairly fast. And when I want the buildings to be in precise spots (to see the most of them at once) its hard to get that accuracy. Having the scroll speed change based on how far the mouse is from the initial click location (exactly like middle click) would go a long way on fixing this.
Edit to my last post: The button doesn't turn the resources off, it's an autosell. No tool tip when hovering over it, couldn't really tell with a quick flick on and off.
Promising start! The steel building has an odd hitbox, off to the south east or something. The "click here to speed up" on research is also missing it's hitbox on the bottom half of the text. I would also long how know how many research points I gain by clicking. Is it 1s worth? 50% of my production? Can't tell. After some upgrades some buildings have decimals that run on for 4 or 5 digits, if you could round that to 1 or 2 that'd be a nice clean up. The numbers next to the checkbox on buildings isn't said anywhere that it's the money/sec of the base building. The check box is also not mentioned anywhere that it turns off production of that building. I think storage should be exponential, at least a little bit. The 1000 extra space gets a to be a tiny amount pretty quickly.
Thanks a lot for the comment! I hope the new update 0.2.1 addresses some of your issues, please have a look at the changelog. Also, clicking to speed up research deducts 0.1% of the total amount (but a minimum of 1 second).
@hitman8 all you have to do it click hard reset, it pops up a second window and you can cancel out of it. I got the achievement by doing that. Also for the 200 buttons one, you also have to cancel a lab research (any one of them).
@albertros753 You need to have a production multiplier of at least 1.5x before you big crunch as described here (~middle of page): http://www.kongregate.com/forums/910715-cosmos-quest/topics/724201-patch-notes-v1-5-0-0?page=2#posts-11119083
@stonerman123 it's how much of an increase in omega particles you would get after a big crunch. Say the multiplier is 1.55x, that means after a big crunch you would get 55% of all the omega you had ever gotten in that big crunch, which would be a 1.55x multiplier in production.
@ixnorp the check box you see is just a quality of life addition. It will finish your sub 1ms researches for you (as their research duration is less than the time it takes to do 1 click). The shop upgrade starts ANY research for you, no clicking required.
Is the "Dark Matter Gather" suppose to be "Gatherer" or something? Gather is a verb, not a noun. Love the game so far. Because I like seeing goals, for the species tab could we get the goal energy that we need to generate to evolve? I'm 0.0002% to whatever is after Geneticman but I don't know what the actual energy value the game wants before I can evolve.
@trewqaz Do you have the money to buy it? It's 10Dd. Also the trophy. http://prntscr.com/8fqv0w It's also possible you bought it when spam buying upgrades if you're around lategame.
I was personally having more fun when it was just about the 1% venting upgrades, but I suppose it did need some challenge.
Improvements:
Offline mode: This is pretty crucial for most idle games nowadays and would let us use those thousands of ticks without having the game open while we sleep.
A still better heating removal display: The exchangers still mess with the heat imperfectly.
Item balancing: T4&T5 reflectors are barely different, buff T5.
Tip of sort: You can also replace any item with any tier of the same item. This should only work one way imo, lower tier to higher.
I would also like to see a stats screen to see max heat/sec decreased so I can plan on which cells to use.
A quick sell everything (the entire reactor) button would also be nice for quick re-planning of the reactor.
Also Daniel's build is at the point of being silly, I doubt that's how the game was intended to be played (http://i.imgur.com/lyG1gru.png)
@hoboMcJoe, yes it is intentional. When you start a new game you get to pick from 5 ships, each having different amounts of accessories and weapon slots.
@rainbowlove91 If you use a program such as CCleaner to speed up your computer, make sure to disable clearing of the cookies on what ever browser you use(or all of them), as cookies store the save files in games.
@Alex242 if you click the tower you wish to sell and look near the bottom left corner it has a sell option, i don't know the percent you get back off the top of my head though.
@Knightshade99 You have to click the mortal tower ten move the target (auto follows your mouse) to where you want it to fire.
@zach4656 if you think he's hard wait until you get to the later bosses, and there's a "secret" boss if you beat boss rush. (unlocked after you beat all 25 lvls)
@mike7swim4 before the bullets start firing you stand perfectly still, the bullets all fire around you, then once the crap from the 2 spheres around you is gone move out of the way or you will be hit by the 2 walls of bullets from atropis, or if you messed it up an antimatter bomb will take you through one round of that attack.
@aerofluff i just build a crap tun of lasers, rockets (on the sides) and try and keep the energy production in the green. if you hold the mouse over the creeper you can see its density, which tells how much creeper is in that pixel/block, if that number is going down, you just need to wait for it to go low enough or build more weapons to take it down.
