@KEVSIIN Yes, this game is in active development - go look at the forums and the Update Previews section.
Everything in the game should be working at the moment I don't believe anyone else has noticed issues with those achievements not working, and there are plenty of us who play daily - besides which, after enough DK, those things hardly make a difference at all, since they're additive with the DK multiplier, so you may not really notice difference.
@Rylar That is well known. The late upgrades are currently more a goal to reach than an actual benefit to gameplay.
@deathleader You mean "tsundere"?
@usasoldier Go look at update previews thread, specifically the link under "...possible teaser..."
Well, offline gains are working now, and there's a fix for you OCD people. Also, there's some pics in the forums those of you waiting on the new update might like to see. :D
Wait... visual novel? Fully programmed yourself (ie: not ren'py)? If this makes things as awesome as I hope, I might just bump this from 4 (max I feel I can give to an idle game) to 5 stars.... and maybe people like desciclope666 might consider it more of a 'real' game :P (Although he might criticize those too)
Yeah but I don't plan to have an affinity system with Catherine. I just plan to have the dialogue interaction of a visual novel. I'm coding it myself using C# because I don't have much of a choice at this point. I can get it to one conversation with 1 dialogue choice that branches off to two different paths but making multiple dialogue choices in the same conversation that branch off to a different response from Catherine is where the wall I hit is at. *cries* If I can get a good system down I can be REALLY creative with it, otherwise I can still be creative but you won't be able to expect dialogue choices to affect what she will say to you later, instead only affect what she says to you in that particular conversation... nor would I be able to make it so her attitude towards you change based on what you say to her. So try not to have super high expectations in those regards. ~Taiga
@Taiga lol. Sure, that's one of the main points to all idle games, but there are things that makes some more interesting than others. Themes of course help. A decent balance and good content - and Queen Catherine is a fun addition that helps with making Conquest much more interesting than it would otherwise be. :D
Yeah I apologize for my misjudgment but I am going to make this up with the dialogue overhaul. I'm pouring years of character creation and creative writing experience into this one. Writing is one thing I feel really confident about. I just never felt confident the internet has people who like to read :P ~Taiga
Currently working on a massive dialogue overflow for her. I would have done more with the dialogue before game launch but I had no idea anyone would care about her. I literally thought people just played idle games to click buttons and do math :P ~Taiga
Somewhat disappointed. Game plays itself, there is zero challenge to even figuring things out. I cannot actually fight since the game does that itself. Boorrrrring.
Given the massive many-weeks wall before I can do anything other than purchase a (rather small) handful of businesses after the surge, I think I'm just going to quit now.
So. FOOD: Fish! Some plant matter & wood and you can make a fishing rod. Fight off the bats and just fish at that big lake. Spend a few days at this and you're set. (I just go and sell the berries, since fish stack & berries don't). -- Shift-clicking drops an item. -- backpacks are also craftable -- Someone with some design skill please go start a wikia for this.
