Sound and Music off still gives me the morse code and victory music at the end of 40 levels. Otherwise it's a pretty cool game. 4/5
Oh, but I have to beat EVERY level again AFTER I've already beat it and got it on par, just this time I can't see shit? 3/5
Invinciproduct: No, there is no freeze like that. Most likely it's your computer. Although all three games seem to use the same engine, maybe you have some bloatware/spyware on your computer that's slowing you down? You definitely shouldn't not get a snag like that.
Great game, but I sold Turbo Fire 2 and it wouldn't let me purchase Turbo Fire 3. I re-entered the base, and I didn't see *any* turbo-fire upgrades at that point.
I take that back, 3/5. Flash is slow on Linux, or at least slower than on Windows. My problem yes, but it would be nice if you were considerate enough to just wipe the blood off of the map every now and then, say under the pretext of rain washing it away or something. I'm getting kind of laggy, plus it's hard to tell where anything is with all the blood and bodies lying around. Secondly, all weapons available from the start is lame. Should have made gathering supplies give you a new weapon. Why would a laser cannon be there from the start?
4/5 Give instructions, I couldn't figure out reload or switch weapon for a while (yeah, I tried R and it didn't work at first, fluke). Also, stats for the weapons would be nice. Clip size, fire rate, damage, and accuracy would be nice to know.
Something really messed up with rockets. They veer off course and go straight down. This apparently stops me from beating the level, because even though all the enemies are dead, the projectiles still haven't hit anything, so I just wait forever. Lame.
And yeah, glitch when you restart from checkpoint. Drones don't heal until you get hit or upgrade them. So a good chunk of time where you could be healing and you're not...
The key to this game is being good with your "ultra" gun. It's really important in the beginning to destroy the ships before they can hurt you, since you have a slow repair rate. And later on, you focus on the big ships while your turrets and junk take care of the smaller ones. Aiming is a bitch, but that's what it boils down to.
